Bush will Veto the Iraq Funding Bill and the Dems Must Stay THEIR Course
The only way to stop the war is to either plan a deadline and withdrawal schedule or to starve it. Without the funding the war can not be continued. Bush can bluster and accuse all he wants, the Generals can predict whatever... but eventually, they will have to leave or put the soldiers in harm's way. The congress has every right to say "enough is enough" and to withold the funds for Psychobush and his brown nosing (and remember, visualize clearly the etymology of the color of the phrase) generals, so they MUST pull out of the war.
In a way, OpEdnews is fighting a war-- we're fighting the erosion of constitutional rights, massive assaults on the integrity of the voting system, incredibly damaging assaults upon regulations to protect the environment, civil liberties, worker rights and safety, civil rights and freedoms, the commons, and of course, the fight to end this most stupid, meaningless war.
