An open letter to Wall Street punks---both young and old.
Here is a news flash boys, and any girls that need to be included. The public does not give a damn that you have an MBA from some Ivy League school that most probably mommy and daddy paid for and that you are impressed by your own self-importance. The fact that you were part of a small group of con men that perpetrated a world-class theft, simply makes you a larger criminal than the thug that robbed the cab driver, but certainly no more honorable. The thug with the gun needed nerve, whereas all you needed was lack of honor. The President sent you a message when he said you need to get out of New York and see how many people would love to make only $250,000 a year. There are people all across this country that have made fortunes, with some never having even graduated from high school. What they did have that you lack, is the ability to take an idea, work hard, and know that if they failed there was no monetary reward. They were also honest, treated their employees with dignity, but most importantly did not place themselves above anyone else. You, on the other hand, were perhaps taught by worthless parents that your station in life was one that gave you privileges not granted to average people. In doing that, they created self centered, self important, egotistical spoiled brats. You really believe that you deserve absurd financial reward, because you have no self-awareness and have no concept of the world we all share. To make matters worse, you shame those of great wealth that have spent their lives “giving back.” On one hand we have people like Gates and Buffet who have given most of their fortunes for the benefit of the entire world, and on the other we have “you”, thieves that lost billions and yet feel they are justified in receiving money for failure.
There is something called “karma” that I would expect most of you could not give a simple definition to, but you may find that it will make itself known soon. No matter how much you have stolen, no matter how much you have hid, no matter that you think you are free and clear, karma will find you and that MBA will do you little good, for in the real world you will find you amount to very little. So sleep well tonight punk for you have hard days ahead, and the world may see you for the worthless thing you are.
