Then, we have our handful of negaholics. There are maybe a dozen members who constantly post negative, angry, generalized comments about how awful everything is, no matter who is elected. Well, OEN has over 22,000 registered members and it's time that that group of a dozen stops drowning the site with their negativity. If you're as sick and tired of them as most of the readers, let them know.
It's fine to disagree with people who write articles or diaries. It's fine to criticize Obama or anyone else, so long as it's current stuff and not the same old rant or right wing echo chamber garbage that's been sent around in millions of forwarded emails.
It's spamming to constantly post comments saying how awful everything is, without specifically discussing the topic of the article or diary. That needs to end. Spamming is a cause to lose access to posting on the site. We don't want to ban anyone. But spamming has to stop. We want comments directly related to the articles and diaries.
