I listened with extreme interest and I am a retired military officer myself. The event did not look or feel anything like a stunt to me. The three retired officers were forthright and direct in their criticism.

The nuclear balance during the cold war was based on the idea, on both sides that a war would cause an unacceptable amount of death. Terrorists who have embraced suicide bombing don't have that restraining philosophy. The risk of nuclear war is, accordingly, much greater.
