Now Bush wants Richard Honaker, an anti-choice zealot from Wyoming, for the federal bench. Dear friend, Meet Richard Honaker, a former Wyoming state representative who is President Bush's pick for a lifetime appointment as a federal judge. Honaker: Tell the Senate: No Way! Richard Honaker is a sworn enemy of a woman's right to choose and up for a lifetime appointment as a federal judge. Send your message asking the Senate to say NO now. Tried THREE times to ban abortion in Wyoming. Publicly stated that abortion is "wrong, and no one should have the right to do what is wrong." Belongs to the Federalist Society, a group whose experts advocate for the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Does this man really sound like someone who can be a fair-minded judge? We don't think so! The Senate is rampant with rumors that Honaker could get a hearing before the Judiciary Committee. Click here to tell senators that this nomination should not move forward. As the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade approaches, so much hangs in the balance.
