9/11 Truth has the Power to Stop Fascism by George Washington Page 1 of 2 page(s) |

Actually, 9/11 is the core issue, the central knot which holds all of the other tyrannical actions of the last 6 years together. When the central knot of 9/11 lies is pulled, it will cause the entire fascist mess to unravel.
Here's why:
• The administration's false claims linking Iraq and 9/11 helped convince a large portion of the American public to invade Iraq. At the time, the Iraq-911 link was at least as important in many people's minds as the fake WMDs as a reason to invade Iraq.
• The trauma of September 11, 2001 is what galvanized many Americans to rally around the Bush administration, to close ranks in a time of peril, and to give the commander in chief his supposed "mandate" (there was obviously election fraud).
Ever since 9/11, the American people have been terrified -- and thus irrational -- based upon the trauma of the vicious attacks. Since most Americans believe that the bad guys are "out there" and are about to get us unless we have a strong leader to fight them, they will not and CANNOT make any logical decisions about any other foreign or domestic issues -- including withdrawal from Iraq -- until "we get the bad guys". Numerous scientific studies show that people whipped into a state of fear can't make logical decisions. Unless we unwind the source of their fear -- the false belief that a guy living in a cave defeated all of America's defenses and that he's out to get us again -- people will keep on acting irrationally.
• The government policy of torture would not have been tolerated if we weren't misled into thinking that Saddam and Al-Qaeda had formed an unholy, all-powerful alliance on 9/11, and had to be stopped at any costs.
• The Bush administration has also used 9/11 as an excuse for domestic spying without warrant, and will use 9/11 as an excuse for every other unconstitutional, undemocratic, unAmerican destruction of civil liberties which it undertakes.
• Even after all of the government's lies have come out, Americans are still terrified about Arabs with weapons. Moreover, since Americans are still largely ignorant about the use of "false flag operations" by governments to justify wars, Americans will fall for a faked provocation. In other words, the fact that 9/11 has not been exposed as a false flag operation will enable the neoconservatives to use another faked terror incident in order to justify a war against Iran.
Put Yourself in the Shoes of a German Citizen in the 1930's
Imagine, if you would, that you were a citizen in Germany right after the Reichstag fire had occurred. Do you believe:
• You could have stopped the government from torturing communists after the Reichstag fire, by convincing people that Germans were a generous and good people who do not torture others?
• You could have prevented the spread of disinformation about the hostile intentions and military capabilities of other countries by reminding Germans that war is bad and peace is good?
• You could have stopped the brownshirts and loss of domestic rights by writing about the desirability of civil liberties?
The German people were whipped up into a state of hysteria and fear, because they thought they were under attack by communists, and Poles, and "bad guys" in general. The German's were in shock, and rallied around their "strong" leader. Without first exposing that the Reichstag fire and Operation Himmler - the two things which were the source and root cause of the German people's fears, and which allowed the German parliament and other institutions to hand Hitler total power -- the sweeping away of worthy causes by the wave of fear could not be stopped.
Americans are crazed by the fear of Arab terrorists just like Germans were terrified of communist and Polish terrorists. Both peoples have handed over all of their power to their leaders in order to buy an imaginary security.

I AGREE
9/11 IS a/the core issue, and the most exploitative and devastating assault on American's psyche. It is the root from whence sprung the assualt upon our constitutional freedoms, and has ENDED the lives of at least 1 Million Iraqis. How anyone with common sense cannot see this is amazing. This monstrous crime cannot hold up to scrutiny. Follow the money and who benefitted the most. The American people and Iraqis surely have not. In fact -- we're the victims! The MIC, PNAC, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld's cronies surely have. Bust the case open and find the real perpetrators. Fascism comes from below, not from above. It is the toxic combination of fear and pride. It is Orwellian that "George Washington" should author a piece on fascism, since he was America's original fascist. Fear of Knowing
"Ignorance can be forgiven - willful ignorance cannot." From day one - Sept. 11th 2001 - I felt that what we witnessed and were being told was a lie. It didn't take long before the lies started to be questioned - not by the anyone of importance, the M$M or members of the congress, or the judiciary, but but ordinary people. The Jersey Girls will one day be known as National heroes - anyone that hasn't watched 9/11-Press for Truth should. But the offencive against the truth-seekers was already in play. It was only a matter of days after the attacks the bush got on national TV and said: "Let us not tolerate outrageous conspiracy theorists" (why would he say this when there was no organized resistance to the lies at that time? A preemptive attack on the Truthers perhaps?) and recently another salvo from the 2nd in command of Homeland Security saying that 9/11 Truth sites are recruiting grounds for terrorists. Today I find that 9/11 has settled into two camps - those that question the events of that day - and those that are afraid to know the truth. The latter I feel are practicing willful ignorance. It's understandable to a degree, there are some crimes so horrendous that the knowledge of them will strip away long-held life long beliefs. I've had it said to me many times from what I consider rational, intelligent people, that they DON'T want to know, because if true, things are so out-of-hand that all is lost. So, where do we "Truthers" go from here? We can't stop. Once the truth is exposed it becomes an obsession. You see things clearer. The lies are so blatant and obvious that when you hear the real perpetrators of 9/11 use the attacks to justify more wanton destruction and murder you want to smash the television and scream "Where is the justice?" - why doesn't someone stop this madness? It's so obvious when you just ask some simple questions: who benefited from 9/11 the most? Why was no criminal investigation every done? Indeed, 9/11 is the lynch-pin to all that has occurred and until we hold those that planned it and pulled it off accountable the evil will continue to corrupt everything it touches. I won't stop trying to penetrate the stone-wall of the willfully ignorant - we can't wait for a hero to come forward with the smoking gun, that isn't going to happen. Only trough tenacity and gaining mass can we every find out and cut-out the evil that is actually behind 9/11. But each day head-way is being made. Just the fact that this article is appearing on a respectable site is a good sign. I believe that even two years ago if this appeared that you'd get a flurry of comments calling us the "tin-hat" crowd. So far I haven't read any, but then again, those that have made-up their minds that we're out of ours may well have quit trying to convince us other-wise just like they refuse to see the truth, they believe we can't. But the wall keeps coming down - brick by brick. This past week the ex-president of Italy Cossiga has gone public on 9/11, telling Italy's most respected newspaper that the attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad and that this was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies. We won't here this on our M$M, so it's up to us to keep pounding away. So, you're right. 9/11 Truth has the power to unravel fascism....
Well perhaps it should begin with its own ranks like Webster Tarpley and other LaRouche followers. Also the elements that actually run around with home grown neo-Nazies and use quasi media like the Barnes Review to make their points. These are the real reasons behind any skepticism concerning 9/11 Truth.
