French Expert Publicly Emerges to Confirm Secret United Nations Meeting on UFO's

Tell A Friend

A French aviation expert has come forward to reveal his participation in a secret meeting held at the United Nations New York headquarters that discussed the UFO phenomenon from February 12-14. Gilles Lorant is an attaché to the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS- National Center for Scientific Research ) which is a government-funded research organization, under the administrative authority of France's Ministry of Research. He is also a member Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defense (IHEDN - the French Organization that produced the 1999 COMETA Report). Both CNRS and IHEDN are prestigious scientific organizations in France, and Lorant was invited to attend the UN meetings in a professional capacity. A report released by a French UFO organization (Federation of European Airplane ), of which Lorant is an executive member, contained a summary of the UN meeting where he describes what happened at the meeting.

Lorant revealed that a series of UN meetings were held over a three day period. In the meetings there was discussion of a confidential report, prepared by the U.S. Air Force and a branch of the National Guard, concerning the societal impact of UFO sightings. The initial meeting was held on February 12 and, according to Lorant’s report, led to a request by three U.S. Senators for further discussions. Additional meetings were held immediately after on February 13 and 14. The implication is that three U.S. Senators attended the secret UN meetings. The meetings were very concerned about social upheaval from continued UFO sightings and the testimonies of individuals claiming to have first hand knowledge about UFO’s, extraterrestrial life, and future global events. It was reported that adverse public reactions to UFO sightings could have a dramatic economic impact that could lead to recessions in some countries.

The emphasis on possible societal upheaval due to growing UFO sightings was reminiscent of recommendations by the 1953 Robertson Panel, convened by the CIA, which identified adverse public reactions as a major security threat that could be exploited by foreign enemies. The UN discussions appeared to match concerns identified in both the 1953 Robertson Panel and the 1961 Brookings Report () to the U.S. Congress, over ramifications of UFO reports and the eventual discovery of extraterrestrial life.

2009 was raised as the year when an important change in official attitudes concerning the UFO phenomenon could be made. This suggested that the official debunking policy underway since the 1953 Robertson Panel would be abandoned and more serious study of the UFO phenomenon would occur. This indicated an important policy shift were the study of UFO’s would be officially encouraged. However, certain global conditions would have to be met for the official opening. Most important appeared to be social stability in G-8 countries and the maintenance of liberal democratic systems in developing nations. Lorant also suggested that an official opening in attitudes would only occur if UFO sightings continued to occur at present levels.

Lorant’s testimony provides independent corroboration for an anonymous source who first came forward on February 12 to reveal to two New York researchers (Clay and Shawn Pickering) that the UN meeting had taken place. The source’s testimony was revealed in two articles published by this author on February 13 and 20 , and a follow up article by Robert Morningstar on Feb 25. Lorant’s testimony gives more detailed information of what happened at the meeting, and is consistent with statements from the original source of the UN meeting concerning approximately 40 participants, multiple issues being discussed as well as the UFO phenomenon, and public reactions to increased UFO sightings. Most importantly, Lorant provides insight into reasons for a significant change in official public policy towards the UFO phenomenon.

The reported results of the UN meetings indicate agreement was reached for an international strategy to more seriously study the UFO phenomenon in a manner that maintains present levels of social stability. This raises the possibility that those presenting information on UFOs/extraterrestrial life deemed to threaten national stability or financial systems, would receive special attention by national security agencies. The meetings results suggest that an official change in government policy from ‘debunking’ to ‘openness’ concerning UFO’s would lead to official approval to narrowly define study of the UFO phenomenon. However, those claiming to have first hand experience of extraterrestrial life would be targeted as charlatans. The UN meeting thereby suggested continuation of policies aimed at exploiting divisions in the UFO community between researchers advocating a strictly scientific study of the UFO phenomenon, and those wishing to discuss testimonies/documentation concerning extraterrestrial life visiting Earth. An article exposing "Galactic COINTELPRO" is available here.

Lorant’s testimony finally suggests that governments are being driven to more open approach to the UFO phenomenon due to the recent increase sightings that are projected to continue well into 2009. What follows is a summary report of the UN meetings based on Lorant’s testimony that appears in a newsletter of the FEA and is available in the original French.

[Acknowledgements] I thank Didier de Plaige for his kind assistance in helping confirm background information about Gilles Lorant, and for first revealing on his blogsite details about Lorant who at the time requested anonymity through a mutual acquaintance of de Plaige. I also thank Jean-Luc Bozzoli and Victor Viggiani for their assistance in translating the original French document.

Newsletter No. 4 of the F.E.A, 25.02.2008
Posted by Jean-Jacques Yvars …

Dear Friends,

For strictly professional reasons and by coincidence, an active member of the FEA was invited to the UN in New York in the week starting February 11, 2008. This person took part in the development of discussions on the subject of UFOs, after the meeting of February 12. These discussions at the United Nations, brought forth further deliberations during three conferences held behind closed doors on 13 and 14 February, to which our member had the honor and pleasure to attend.

Here is a summary of the minutes that Mr. Gilles Lorant, invited to the meetings, kindly shared with us about what was said at the United Nations in New York:

On 12 February, the U.S. Air Force and the National Guard would actually presented a report on the subject of UFOs and the impact of sightings on many communities in the United States. Since this report was considered important for industrialized countries, representatives from several countries were invited to attend. Then, at the request of three United States Senators, a series of three meetings took place in the [two] following days, in the presence of forty representatives from twenty-eight member countries, including the Vatican (two countries did not send representatives). On both days, the subject of UFO’s was discussed, for no more than an hour and a half, as one of the causes of social upheaval of a country, due to the high probability of economic recession resulting from the speeches of ‘contactees’, charlatans, religious [figures], some scientists and prophecies. Sightings of UFOs increase sharply the risk of social unrest threatening the political systems of several emerging democracies.

According to Mr. Gilles Lorant, what was discussed was an opening in official attitudes when publicly considering, in future, how to treat the UFO phenomenon. An official opening to be held under two conditions:

1) Until the end of 2009, that social peace in the G8 countries is guaranteed around the liberal democratic model (US version)

2) By the end of 2009, that the UFO sightings disturbing "our neighbors" continues throughout the world.

Cosmic cointelpro

This whole article smells like Cosmic Cointelpro to me. That's not to say that I don't think that it is impossible that there was a meeting, but not as depicted by Salla.  To really get a handle on the UFO situation, you need to read the work of Laura Knight-Jadczyk. For example, her article on Cosmic COINTELPRO and her BBC radio interview as well as her review of Richard Dolan's book "UFOs and the National Security State" entitled Something Wicked This Way Comes, have a mountain of empirical observations to back them up while this article by Michael Salla is just "feel good wishful thinking."

Sorry, don't buy it.

"There is no preparing the people"

In his book “Aliens from Space” US Marine corps Major Donald Keyhoe relates a story of a conversation between high-level Air force personnel and key members of the CIA.  One Air force officer suggests that it would be smart to begin to break the news to the people and prepare them for contact with the group that is flying the UFOs in our air space.

The CIA man then says, “There is no preparing the people for contact with beings from some other world.” The Air force man then asked,  “Why can the people not be told; what is so dreadful that this must be kept secret for as long as possible?”

The CIA man backs away and tells the group that that was only his own opinion. Major Keyhoe conjectures that the CIA man was telling it exactly as the people at the top of government view the presence of the Extraterrestrials in our world;  “They just can’t tell the people because the ‘Truth’ is indeed, to awful.

This is all very basic once an individual understands that certain ‘Key’ elements are at work to deny the people the Truth.

If you can stand it, here it is.

We are the "Living Dead."

This is why our nuclear war fighting elite must keep this all-secret because they know that when you figure it out, you aren’t going to be real pleased.

Gilles Lorant, the CNRS ghost ?

From this article : "Gilles Lorant is an attaché to the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS- National Center for Scientific Research ) which is a government-funded research organization, under the administrative authority of France's Ministry of Research"

- Actually there's no "attaché" position per se in CNRS. There are however some "attaché de recherche" and "attaché de direction" positions.

- This being said, CNRS displays a people finder on its website. Interestingly when one types "Lorant" in this engine, one gets zero return.

- If you want to broaden your search you can type "Gilles Lorant" in a meta search engine and except the articles about this UN meeting you will not find one single website mentioning links between a so called Gilles Lorant and CNRS.

Interesting isn't it ?

Axel.

Reply: Corroboration of French Source for UN Meeting

Click here for a message from Giuliano Marinkovic, a Croatian UFO researcher relaying the findings of his own independent investigation of Gilles Lorant who attended the secret UN meeting. The comments by Michel Ribardiere, President of the European Federation AIRPLANE gives more details about Mr Lorant and help confirm his credibility as a witness of what transpired at the UN. The fact that Mr Ribardiere has chosen to go public and support Mr Lorant's credibility and testimony is significant.

Importantly, the name of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund was raised in relation to the UN meeting. It is possible that Mr Strauss-Kahn either attended or sent one of his representatives to the meeting.

The comments by Mr Ribardiere help further corroborate the testimony of Lorant concerning a secret UN meeting held on February 12, and followed up on Feb 13 and 14. Currently, further independent confirmation is underway for the reliability of key sources for the UN meeting, and in particular Gilles Lorant's own background and relationship with organizations such as CNRS.

Fédération Airplane (FEA).

This website was created in 2008 and, after a few emails to various French experts, I find that they are unknown to other well-known French UFO organizations.

They present themselves as "research organization," but then, a few
lines later,  they list in their objectives "preparing the public
opinion to the numerous paradigm changes implied by the official
aknowledgment of those entities [aliens]."

Fédération Airplane (FEA) clearly seems to be an artificial organization set up for the express purpose of pushing a "aliens are here to help us" disclosure agenda, and Gilles orant (if he exists) seems to serve the same agenda.

I have a few emails out to personal contacts at CNRS and will report back.

It amazes me

How can anyone trust information that is supposedly being leaked by a government agent?  In this world, that would be the last person I'd trust without investigation, whether he is who he says he is or not.   This entire UN meeting idea reeks of a dis-information campaign.  The target date of 2013 and the premise for delay,  or a slow "leak,"  are ridiculous as it is obvious that the populace is ready for real answers or full disclosure now, immediately.

I know Gilles Lorant, Michel Ribardi=E8re and Jean-Jacques Yvars, of the French group FEA.

I think that the testimony of Gilles Lorant is credible, much more than the initial one given through Michael Salla!
I have read his testimony, both in French on the FEA web site, and in English on the Exopolitics website, and the translation seems correct.

To read the French text, go to:
http://www.federation-airplane.eu
(consulte the archive and its the lastest newsletter.)

BTW, one of the initial claims is corrected by Lorant.

The three days meeting at the UN did not have UFOs as their main topic. It was rather on the question of risks of major world crisis, economical and political. But UFOs and the policy of secrecy were discussed as an element fueling distrust of the governments.

The question of gradual lifting of secrecy was raised, and all participants seemed to agree on that.

Gilles Lorant was invited only to the second and third days, so he could not report on the first day.
It seems it was on the first day that the National Guard and the Air Force, made contributiuons to the debate. But that needs to be checked.

I abstained to speak about it so far because of confidentiality and the need to check. But Gilles Lorant seems to have been permitted to speak publicly, on the FEA web site, so the cat is now out of the bag!

Agendas and the true power mechanism

Governments are powerful, dangerous entities, with monumental struggles within.  Most government employess from ranks high and low are as oblivious to the true mechanisms of power as are the general public.  But the cabal behind the curtain, the true power brokers, the self-proclaimed lords of the commoners' destiny have used disinformation and propoganda for many years to manufacture public opinion in pursuit of dark agendas, and the groundwork has been laid.  Groundwork for a world changing sequence of events leaving no human unaffected.

I am convinced that key members of the US government and several "allies' planned and executed or, at the very least, allowed the attacks of 911 to occur.  This brought about the temporary unification of a sufficient portion of the American public behind an illegal war for geographic positioning and access to immense oil deposits, and the stage has been set.

In the constant struggle between the elite and non that has been waged throughout human history, a new chapter may have been written, edited and presented for publication.  The elite may be poised to make their move, the ultimate tour de force.

I am further convinced that the sudden official disclosure and admission of contact by, and especially collusion with one or more extra-terrestrial races would be catastrophic not only on social systems, religions and economic engines worldwide, but would include the potential break down of the human family structure, nationalism and individual identity.

A genuine, sudden pandemic of a highly contagious virus affecting millions, or billions in a matter of days, would offer the ideal method by which to introduce the aliens to mankind were they be able to demonstrate that they are here to help.

Sound reasonable?  But based on myriad examples of the relationship between the powerful and the masses, the overlord's management of the bewildered herd, I'm compelled to ask myself - what's the real plan?

Secret UN Meetings re: UFOs

Secret UN Meetings

Dear Dr. Salla,
With great interest I read your article above. although I am not a professional ufologist, nor am I an expert in Exopolitics, I proffer the following thoughts in your provocative article. I have taken the liberty to copy portions of the text I thought noteworthy, highlighting specific thoughts that you had expressed for which I would find elucidation of value. In particular, the following text from that article emerges as significant [my comments follow in brackets]:

"...the meetings were very concerned about social upheaval from continued UFO sightings and the testimonies of individuals claiming to have first hand knowledge about UFOs, extraterrestrial life, and future global events..." [Comment: this is where human interpretation of UFO phenomena runs aground: losing credibility by veering into cultic phenomena. The ability to foretell future events is claimed by three groups of people:
  1. prophets of God,
  2. cultists, and
  3. delusional individuals.

IMPORTANT FACT: please note that according to the Bible, more than one recognized prophet of God (and certain selected individuals that weren't recognized as prophets) received prophetic material from angels (Daniel, Zechariah, Mary, etc.). To maintain integrity, I am forced to at least entertain the remote possibility that God speaking to man through angels today is what's occurring. There are time-proven, winnowing criteria that must be employed to determine whether this is indeed the case and that these individuals have been given foreknowledge re: future events. I have long noted the association of ufology with the outlandish and cultish, which dilutes the credibility of truly inexplicable events. Even so, I remain open to this phenomenon. There is too much disparate, and pandemic evidence to deny that something inexplicable is happening (and has been happening intermittently for possibly thousands of years].

"...2009 was raised as the year when an important change in official attitudes concerning the UFO phenomenon could be made. This suggested that the official debunking policy underway since the 1953 Robertson Panel would be abandoned and more serious study of the UFO phenomenon would occur..." [Comment: I'll believe that when I see it. It will take a protracted effort to rectify 60 years of government-initiated obfuscation; explanations/debunking that insult the sensibilities and intelligence of a middle-school student; prevarication; and bald-faced denial of tangible evidence. Somehow I am reminded of Jack Nicholson bellowing out, "You can't handle the truth!" (A Few Good Men)]

"...This indicated an important policy shift were the study of UFOs would (sic) be officially encouraged. However, certain global conditions would have to be met for the official opening. Most important appeared to be social stability in G-8 countries and the maintenance of liberal democratic systems in developing nations. Lorant also suggested that an official opening in attitudes would only occur if UFO sightings continued to occur at present levels..."

[Comments below:

  • BEWARE! The UN is trying to parlay the UFO phenomena towards its own self-serving agenda ("certain global conditions..."). This is arrogant in the extreme! Let me get this straight! The UN is open to a change "in official attitudes concerning the UFO phenomenon", given their global agenda are met! Well isn't that magnanimous of this illustrious body! Can we be so naive as to assume that once "certain global conditions are met", the thoroughly corrupt UN, in corroboration with the U.S. and other entities is going to be suddenly forthcoming and upfront with sightings interpretation? I wonder if this enlightened "change in policy" is retroactive in disclosure back to the Roswell events? Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!
  • Am I skewed in my perception that it seems as though the US government is the only government engaging in this moldering policy of debunking??? It appears to me as though France, Russia, and Spain - to name a few - have taken UFO phenomena very seriously for a number of years - and have not embraced a policy of misleading their citizenry. Please recalibrate me on this if I am wrong. That the UN and U.S. would corroborate on this issue, when at odds in most everything else of global concern, is profoundly suspicious. I repeat: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!
  • An acquaintance of mine has embraced a thought-provoking theory for some time. He believes that as a result of Roswell and related events in 1947-48, the US government has been spoon-feeding the American public tidbits, while inducing the entertainment industry to exploit UFO-related intrigue. Hollywood has played into the government's hands well. Anything from space or alien, sells well. Over 60 some years, this has served to desensitize the American public to be able to absorb the truth. My acquaintance has voiced the opinion that the US government is gradually giving us more and more information, until the "policy-makers" decide they can let the cat out of the bag. His theory has long intrigued me.

I find this little blurb re: the UN talks profoundly disturbing. It is possible that something big is about to happen. However, we must critically assess it, as it may be a strong delusion (See: 2 Thessalonians 2.11, New Testament). It's interesting that the Holy Scriptures state in at least half a dozen places (Isaiah; Joel; Haggai, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and, Hebrews) that the heavens will be shaken. This is deep and subject to some interpretation.

With Regards,

Keith
