Why..., Believe a Lie..., About Genesis??

The secular world believes a lie about Genesis.  How often do you read in the newspaper, articles about the "creation vs. evolution" controversy?  There is no such contest.  It’s like comparing the New York Jets with the New York Mets, trying to see which is the better team.  They can’t even play on the same field.  The correct battle is defined in the article “Evolution vs. the Observations of Moses”, henceforth referred to as OM.

Creationism is the doctrine that God created this universe, the Earth, and original life on this planet.  Evolution will not dare enter into the arena of origins.  It delegates that issue to the theory of the Big Bang.  In the past, evolution tried to sponsor the theory of the primordial soup, but has since backed away from such a ridiculous hypothesis.  Rather than to reinvent the wheel, please find and read the articles “The Deathtrap of Evolution” and “Setting Creationism and Science Straight” on the internet.  The atheists and skeptics want to treat the fairytale of evolution as a fact, and the facts of the writings of Moses as a fairytale.   Why…, believe a lie…, about Genesis??

This being an election year, it seems that the Republicans are again playing their “creationism card”, in an attempt to capture the vote of the evangelicals.  Remember when President Bush did the same thing in 2000?  Find and read the articles “Education Reform Impeded By Hypocrites In Office”, “National Certification of Science Teachers”,

and “Science Teachers Need More Training”.  I emailed, snail-mailed, and faxed the White House, several times, without ever getting a response.  I called, emailed, and faxed Margaret Spellings of the Department of Education at least fourteen times. It has been set up so that the U.S. Dept of Ed won’t let you contact her.  I wanted her to speak to President Bush about the possibility of him issuing a directive to allow Certificates of Completion to be signed by the Education Secretary, given to science teachers that “go the extra mile” for their students by taking the course I teach.  It’s a 6-hr class for (public) science teachers where they can compare the principals of evolution with the correct literal interpretation of the first three chapters of Genesis, so that they 1) won’t be speaking in ignorance about what is written by Moses and 2) won’t be blindly indoctrinating students into atheism without balancing their class with both views.  This has nothing to do with Intelligent Design, which is too inept and a waste of academic time.

I even tried to get help from my two Republican U.S. Senators, to aid me in my attempt to set up a phone interview with Secretary Spellings.  They were of no help.  It took more than five months (three mailings) for them to understand the king’s English.  They pretended to not understand what I wanted, and only sent a token letter to the Education Department, forwarding to me the same type of insincere reply that I had earlier gotten from the Deputy Secretary.

However, the secular world is not alone in believing a lie about Genesis.  Please find and read the articles “Creationism Also Tells Tall Tales” and “Does Anyone Understand Genesis?”.  Young Earth doctrines are both false and foolish, and they have to redefine the scriptures to make their teachings seem correct.

In actuality, they call God a dummy.  Since God created all science (physical laws of this universe) and wisdom, they present the first chapter of Genesis as being a description of Creation Week, occurring (according to them) in about 8,000 BC.  If that is the case, is the revelation that God gave Moses the best story that God could come up with?  You mean to tell me that God couldn’t come up with something more scientific than “And the Earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep”??  Let me make this clear.  It is the worlds of creationism and theology that are being the dummies.  They misrepresent the Holy Bible, and do not understand the Genesis text.  That’s why a certain book (ISBN:1424182204 at www.PublishAmerica.com) begins with scripture, then explains what the scriptures are saying.

All other Old Earth doctrines call God a liar, except that Ruin & Restorationists call Moses a liar.  The before mentioned articles explain their positions.  Any so called creationist, or theologian, that accepts or embraces any sort of evolution is an infidel, and a wolf roaming in the pasture of sheep.  Find and read the articles “For the Love of Ignorance”, and “Why Won’t Creationists Face Reality?”.  Why do they want to believe and teach a lie about Genesis?

Why is it that Esau (the twin brother of Jacob, who God loved), was able to partake in the joys of marriage with two women (and later consummated with a third), when he was forty years old (in 2118 BC), and his brother Jacob couldn’t marry until he was 83 years old (in 2075 BC)…, and it wasn’t even with the woman he wanted?  Why is it the evolution evangelist gets invited to speak across the country, and the world’s leading expert on Genesis isn’t even invited across the street?  Is it because the world wants to believe a lie about Genesis?

Why do all pastors, priests, and rabbis hide the truth of Genesis, and allow their communities and congregations to die in ignorance of the truth about what Moses wrote?  Most certainly, Moses didn’t write about creation week.  God revealed the concept of geologic time to modern mankind, but even Moses didn’t understand the six visions which God showed him on Mt. Sinai, in 1598 BC.  Moses wrote what he saw, but only 3500 years later would that understanding be given.

A prominent American, who lives in the Bible belt, was given “the words of eternal life”, written on the inside cover of a book, to be a help to him and his family.  Surprisingly, that well known American refused to even acknowledge receipt of the book, even after nine months.  You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink.

Can just one person educate all of mankind alone?  Without an audience or support, how long can a ministry last?  Upwards of 5000 churches, 1600 Bible colleges and seminaries, across America have been contacted about presenting the truth of Genesis.  But they all refuse.  They say that they already know and teach the truth, but in reality, they are no where close. Therefore the world at large is still ignorant of the facts, and believes a lie about Genesis.

Genesis

Greetings,

I did read the whole thing, and I am not sure what he is talking about.   Evolution is wrong, creationism is wrong (I knew that creationism was wrong, as is "intelligent design"), and the author, Ephraim, is the only one who knows the truth.  In my neighborhood, I have a couple who are in TOTAL belief that the earth is only 6,000 years old.  That is their truth, and nothing I present to them changes their belief.   Evolution doesn't answer all the questions, and I doubt they will ever be answered.  But then, I wasn't with Moses.

Millions can be wrong but Ephraim is right!?

You know you are in for something when a book or books of the Bible have been out in our world for over a thousand years and only now does one person say we all got it wrong? I have read Genesis and the other Genesis in it too. Both are mutually exclusive in their contradictions of each other over which came first during the creation phase.

And as for Evolution? As more data is accumulated the ideas and knowledge change how it is viewed, just not cancel it out as the only viable options for what we see in the past and even today! There is evidence of more mechanisms involved but it is the environment that dictates what survives and what becomes extinct. 99% of what has lived is now gone.

I get annoyed when some one almost name drops "...a well known...?..person," without saying their name which means you can't check it out or ask this person. Not clever in this day and age. It would have been nice if Ephraim had given one example of each where Genesis and Evolution got it wrong in interpretations. Just so we could see what Ephraim meant without getting (his?) book on the subject.

Mildly interesting but not much else. Devoid of meaningful content. Thumbs down.

Why..., Believe a Lie..., About Genesis?

This article is a waste of time.
The author never reveals his belief/point/truth.

What, do I have to enroll in his 6-hour course to hear the secrets revealed?

people prefer magic

The trouble with Christianity is that people prefer magic.  The bible was written for primitives who had only  household language and vocabulary and used allegory instead. A “divinely inspired”  storyteller needed to trick the ignorant into understanding concepts, which they tended to interpret as magic.

Genesis explained Adam’s creation twice: Two trees in the Garden; tree of life, tree of knowledge. Two different floods: 40 days, 100 days. Explaining them twice in different ways indicates "do not take this literally". But what does ‘literal’ mean to an illiterate? Most avid bible readers ignore or forget the dual accounts in Genesis. Some can't read.

New churches were built at former temple sites to con people into showing up at a comfortable old site for a new shell game, bring their kids, and tangle new truth and philosophy with old-time magic. "Just show up, it's good for you, whatever you care to believe"

A few years ago Bill Moyer held a series on TV of discussions on Genesis between top theologians of every major faith. A book was published. Skin-deep smalltalk is what it was. Read GENESIS by Moyer (on second thought never mind).

Creation, destruction and recreation

I believe Ephraim is saying that Genesis 1:1-2 teach that in the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth; billions of years passed by in the perfect universe God created before it became "void and without form;" one of the great angels named Lucifer rebelled against God during those billions of years resulting in total destruction and chaos; more time passed before God created the Garden of Eden and created Adam and Eve in the Garden.

This theory of Genesis 1:1-2 refutes the late creation theory that the earth is 6,000 years old, allows for the prehistoric ages of ice and prehistoric animals.

Both creation and evolution are theories. It depends simply where you place your faith. Go back before the Big Bang or the Oscillating Theory. If concentration of matter caused the Big Bang, from where did the matter originate? Only two answers-- 1. God created the matter and He is God and I am especially made in His image. 2. Matter eternally exist and matter is therefore your God, and you are worth no more than a cockroach crawling on my kitchen floor.

Numbers do not prove a thing concerning truth; but if you want numbers, there are many more people on planet earth who believe God created the universe than there are those who believe God did not (Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and other religions).

I'm confused

If we are made in the image of His estimable self, why are "gay" people a "mote" in His eye?? He made them , so did he make the mistake? If not, who carries the responsibility? How can He be real God if He can make such a mistake? Also how does He explain the different colors of skin, the difference in features??

IMO there is no God!! Only people who want money, money to build mansions on earth. These same people are the ones who sit at a banquet table while little ones and their families starve around the world.

There will be an Armageddon, and it will probably be in the next decade. The Elitists are already reeming caverns in the rock mountains and putting in supplies for many years. They are protecting themselves and not even giving the rest of the world the warning so that some can make a chance for themselves. No, but we can already see our enemy if we know where to look. I know where to look, do you. Try the South Pole Observatory!!! Or if you live in the Southern Hemisphere, she is visible already. She brings Lucifer and all his minions in the shape of a planet and hundreds of astoroids and moons. We will see floods, earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis. and then the north and south pole axis will shift. Are you ready, do you believe???? The Elitists would not leave us in the cold, that to cruel you say? Why should they care about you? You are just cattle or sheep in their eyes.  You don't think they are going into the mountains to wait out the catastrophy? Look at the machine! It is on my Billboard,http://my.care2.com/lamargopetersen. Those machines are all around the world. One built the undersea passage between France and England. Another built the underground line for rapid transportation in my city[it was a baby one]. Do you think the Queens and Kings, and Emperors and Sheiks will go down with the Passing??? Nope they will cower in the caves like original man as time returns to the beginning. And they really think they will be safe, HAH !!!

About creation not ethics

I cannot speak to homosexuality for I am a heterosexual. I do know my religion teaches any sexual relationship between two or more people outside of marriage is wrong including heterosexuality or homosexuality. I leave your relationship between you and your god or God or gods. I am not the judge; He Is.

But that begs the question of Genesis 1:1-2. If a homosexual exists, then God created him or her since God is the Maker of all things, not the Creator of results or processes leading to those results. God created mankind. Mankind has made the mess we live in called the earth, not God or even the Devil.

I think the article was about early or late creation theories not ethics.

Thanks, but that's not correct

Thanks pratliff94, but you are making the same mistake as others, trying to guess my position.  What you mentioned was the beliefs of the Ruin & Restorationsists, which is false.   There was original creation week, followed by a total extinction millions of years later, then a re-creation week, followed by another total extinction, and a repeat of this pattern three more times.

You are right. I should not have guessed your thinking. I do disagree with you for there is no Scriptural evidence for your position.
