What IF ....?

What if the Christ Jesus was actually a spiritually anointed son of man and servant of God, and not the "only begotten" son of God? What if his mother Mary was not a virgin, and his father was Joseph? And what if he is not going to come again? Does that make his teachings any less valid and important? And wouldn’t it take the "Christian Right" down off its high horse?

Well, first, the answer to the last question is yes. And the answer is given right the Bible, in both the Old Testament and New Testament, even though bigoted fundamentalist Christian hypocrites can't see the truth and instead "preach the commandments of men for doctrines," just as Jesus said they would.

Joseph J. Adamson has written the following in an article titled "How and Why the Myth of the 'Second Coming of Christ' Was Created":

"That’s why it is quite true where it is written in the gospels that ‘according to their own desires they will choose teachers who will tell them just what they want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and go after fables.’ And it is quite true that religious bigots and hypocrites have been and still are clinging to fables and myths to justify their aggression and imposition, and their efforts to rule the world in the name of religion."

"That’s why it is quite true where it is written that: ‘For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.’"

"But, ironically, arrogantly proud and militant right-wing religious bigots and hypocrites who claim to be godly Christians (or Muslims or Jews) do not understand that those words apply to them."

"And the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart …… for the earth is filled with violence through them." (Genesis 6:5-11).

"That applies exactly and precisely to the time we are going through. It is exactly why there is so much violence in the world, and why the Lord God and this servant and witness of God grieves!"

"I tell you truly that the idea of a ‘second coming’ of the Christ Jesus was created by men who may have thought they had good intentions, but it is a myth. It is every bit as much a myth as the myth about the ‘virgin birth’ of Jesus, and the myth that he was ‘the only begotten son of God,’ or even ‘God Himself.’ (See the pages on The Virgin Birth Story, The Martyrdom of Jesus, and Prophecies About the Messenger.)"

"The worst thing about the myths is that ever since the fourth century they have enabled a lot of ‘Christian’ Popes, Emperors, Kings and subsequent Heads of State to indulge in war, military imperialism, colonialism, and even genocide, all in the name of spreading Christianity. And those myths are the main reason why so many Christians, Jews and Muslims do not recognize that they belong to one family of religions that includes all religions."

"It is time for myths to be exposed and dispelled. It is time for all peoples, nations and religions to recognize that they all are members of one family of God. And it is time for the Spirit of truth to issue judgment, guide you unto truth, and show you things to come."

On his web site, Adamson delivers many articles or pages of highlights from the message he delivers, addressing subjects all they way from sex to ecology to prophecy to reformation of religion and government. It’s quite something.

As I said in my bio, I’ve been monitoring his web site for a good while, and I’ve noticed that his ability to say what needs to be said is quickening. The newer pages are far more concise and effective. And I think it won’t be long before more and more people get the message. God help us help them to understand.

Indeed!

The message is there, I agree that the sociopaths that rise to the top of government, business and religion have twisted it to their own ends.  I also agree that the wheels are starting to come off the bandwagon, it seems to me that thinking people are starting to access their spirituality directly.  Buying 'Wholesale' is always better (grin)....eliminate the middlemen whenever possible.

Adamson

Adamson is a false prophet.

Peter declared: "You are truly the son of God". Jesus commended him

for his insight. This article is just another attempt to twist the words of the

Bible. Who ya gonna believe? Adamson or Jesus himself?

When Jesus comes again will he find faith on earth? That is the big question. Torrents upon torrents of assaults have come upon the teachings

in the Bible. The same old arguments are made: it is/was used to manipulate people, etc. But... Jesus said the "truth will set you free".

There is no doubt that there are "Christians" who manipulate the teachings of the Bible for their own interests. But Adamson does the same thing by denying the divinity of Jesus. Neither is correct.

The true followers are the followers of Jesus in the mode of the 12 apostles. Ones that are teachable and willing to be disciplined.

Again.... will Jesus find faith on earth when he comes again?

For all the naysayers.... tell me.... what do you put you're faith in?

Again... people will say: but there are many religions all claiming to have

the truth. My answer is that there are many religions with many of the same

things in common. The American Indians believed in the "great white spirit".

It didn't matter what this spirit was called, it mattered that he existed.

People in the last days will worship the creation instead of the creator.

They believe evolution from some cell in the distant past is the father of all

that exists in the world today. Creation by a creator is a total farce in their

minds.

The signs of the times are here now. People blame the right-wing nuts

and the "Christian right" to deny the existence of God and the truth of Scripture. They think in political and humanistic terms. It gives them a good

excuse to deny God. They see the imperfections in believers and that's their

excuse.

Bob, don't bear false witness

Don’t condemn before you understand.

There are plenty of false prophets and hypocrite, just a Jesus said there would be. But Adamson is not one of them. In fact, he exposes all the false prophets.

Adamson does NOT "deny the divinity of Jesus" as you falsely claim. In fact, he glorifies the Christ Jesus for what he was, as son of man and sacrificial Lamb of God. Jesus is not to be an idol for worship, because as Jesus himself said, "Why call me good? There is but One who is good, and that is God." And Jesus said, "God is greater than I."

Jesus knew very well what Moses wrote, that God is not a mortal, not a man, nor a son of man. And Jesus also knew that Isaiah wrote that only God is the Savior and Holy One, and that God chooses servants to communcate to humanity.

You also falsely claim Adamson "denies God." But in fact, Adamson provides a much better, modern explanation of what God is, to help all religions understand that we are all children of God, our spiritual Parent and the Source of our existence.

You should not be so quick to falsely judge before you know what you’re talking about.

I Know What I'm Talking About

Why should I believe you or Adamson?

I never said Adamson denied the existence of God, I said he denies Jesus'

divinity. Jesus said " I am the way, the truth, and the life, no comes to the Father except through me."

I believe you are bearing the false witness.

The Bible makes it clear several times over that Jesus is both man and God.

Jesus before Pontius Pilate acknowledged he was the son of the living God.

He was crucified for it.

In fact.... Jesus existed alone with the father even before this very earth

was created (it's in the Bible).

False prophets always mix in some truth with their claims, and this Adamson is a classic example.

Think again

As I said, you should not judge and condemn before you know what you’re talking about.

If you read the message from the Spirit of truth, you will understand WHY Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no comes to the Father except through me."

You will also understand WHY Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I am."

Jesus was an Avatar-Christ, and he said "I am the way" for the same reason that other Avatars did.

For example, Meher Baba said, "I am the Ancient One. I am the One so many seek and so few find. For no amount of intellect can fathom me. No amount of austerity can attain me. Only when one loves me and loses one’s self in me, am I found."

The problem here is that you have been indoctrinated by the erroneous, man-made doctrine of preeminence and superiority. And, in fact, Jesus warned against it, saying that hypocrites would "preach the commandments of men for doctrines," and claim to "do many wonderful works in the name of the Lord."

That's why "Christians" have committed so many atrocities during the last sixteen centuries, indulging in military imperialism, colonialism, and even genocide, all the the name of "spreading Christianity."

I fully understand why you believe what you do. Most Christians have been misled by the doctrines of men and do not understand what the Christ Jesus actually taught. That’s why Jews do not accept Jesus as a Messiah (Moshiach), because he did not fulfill many Judaic prophecies as the Christian gospels claim.

But he did fulfill some, as the sacrificial Lamb of God. And the modern son of man fulfills the rest.

I Have Been Indoctrinated....

Think again yourself.....

I have not been indoctrinated, in fact, I discovered the truth without the

assistance of a church , person, or any other "authority". The spirit of God leads me to the truth. The time has indeed come when Christians will again be persecuted for their beliefs, and brought before courts. People will think

they are doing a good thing. Will you be one of my accusers? Seems like

Jessica, Sarah, and Morgan all belong to he same cult. Why don't you get

Adamson on this forum to speak for himself?

There you go again

You should stop spouting off before you know what you're talking about.

Adamson is not a "cult" leader. In fact, he delivers the message anonymously because it is the truth, and nothing but the truth, that shall unite and empower us all, and set us free from ALL those who want to rule over us, whether in the name of religion or patriotism.

And by the way, the prophecy about the persectuion of Christians was already fulfilled, during the first three centuries following the death of Jesus.

Today so-called "Christians," who are actually "religious" bigots and hypocrites, claim to be persecuted, when they are only reaping what they have sown. That's because there is an understandable and appropriate backlash against the aggression and imposition of  the Christian Right during the last 28 years.

You need to learn the truth.

Yes, aggression and imposition

If you do not see how and why the Christian Right has tried to impose their right-wing partisan political agenda upon the country, and has had much success, from local school boards to the White House, then you need to wake up.

Besides, Adamson only echoes what the founding fathers said long ago, about the Christian Right of their day.

"Across the ages, clergy have been interested not in truth but only in wealth and power; when rational people have had difficulty swallowing their impious heresies, then the clergy have, with the help of the state, forced them down their throats." – Thomas Jefferson

"I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and State." -- Thomas Jefferson

"The clergy, by getting themselves established by law and ingrafted into the machine of government, have been a very formidable engine against the civil and religious rights of man." – Thomas Jefferson

"Ecclesiastical establishments tend to great ignorance and corruption, all of which facilitate the execution of mischievous projects." – James Madison

"What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wish to subvert the public liberty may have found an established clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them not." – James Madison

"May God bless the world and every person, every nation, every religion, every race, and every culture, and let no one keep clinging to the misguided notion that theirs is superior to all others." --- Joseph J. Adamson

CNN had a quote not long ago of Jefferson's saying he thought all Churches would be Unitarian Unervesalist by around 1850.

I'll give that quote another 20 years or I will die of insanity at 70.

But Jefferson's quote about a wall between church and state is not in the Constitution.  As much as I wish it was!

The Spirit of truth

"He is my witness and my servant whom I have chosen, so you may know and believe me, and understand that I am the Holy One. Before me there was no God formed, and neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord God, and beside me there is no Savior." (Isaiah 43:10-11)

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not and does not know him. But you shall know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you... Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more ... At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you." (John 14:17-20)

"I tell you the truth; It is to your advantage that I go away: for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in me [or my teachings]; of righteousness, because I go to our Father [to heaven] and you see me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself [but serve only as messenger]; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he declare, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall declare it to you." (John 16:7-15)

"That clearly reveals that because Jesus had to go away and we would see him no more, he would send someone delivering the message from the Spirit of truth and the Comforter, who will issue the judgment, guide humanity unto the truth, show you things to come, and glorify and declare the testimony of the Christ in heaven."

"However, while the Spirit of truth and Comforter can influence and inspire individuals through spiritual revelation or epiphany, the Holy Spirit-Consciousness of the Ancient One needs a messenger to convey and deliver the message to all humanity. It couldn’t happen otherwise. And the message reminds all the world of what the enlightened ones taught; to guide us unto the truth, clarify the truth, show us things to come, and deliver the judgment in writing so that the message can be delivered to all humanity."

No, you're point is in error

Why do you think I bolded "He is my witness and servant who I have chosen..."

Do you not get the difference?

God is the Holy One and Savior, and God CHOOSES a witness and servant, a son of man, to fulfill prophecy. And just as Jesus was a son of man who fulfilled certain prophecies, the current son of man fulfills the rest of the prophecies.

What's More

It's easy to expose and criticize the Christian Right, or the Religious Right in generally. Many have done that. For example, Rob Boston wrote a book titled Why the Religious Right Is Wrong, and it expressed what many people know.

However, before Boston's book was published, Joseph J. Adamson's first book had already been published. It's titled Real Prophecy Unveiled: Why the Christ Will Not Come Again, And Why the Religious Right Is Wrong.

Adamson not only exposes and rebukes religious bigots and hypocrites, whether they claim to be Christians or Muslims or Jews. He fulfills Judeo-Christian prophecy as the witness and servant of God, the messenger for the Spirit of truth, who issues judgment, guides us to the truth, and shows us things to come.

Jesus said

Jesus said that he would be coming again in the clouds and every eye would see him. He warned against false doctrine. He said do not look in the

"inner rooms" or the "outer chambers" for he will not be there. Neither will he be on Adamson's website.

This teacher, comforter, instructor is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is indeed a spirit not Adamson.

This whole Adamson thing reminds me of the Mormon's and their cult

worship of Joseph Smith. I've seen it a million times. Adamson is no different. Why don't you post your views on a conservative, Bible believing website?

Learn the truth

You’re not paying attention. You have a knee-jerk reaction, and you’re reacting before you’ve read the message. And, therefore, you do not know what you’re talking about.

Open your mind, and you heart. Learn the truth, rather than think you know the truth because you are indoctrinated by the doctrines that have led the world to where we are now.

You, like so many other Christians, do not understand the symbolism of the Bible, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

You don’t understand the symbolic language about the "lightning," the "darkened sun and moon," the "sign of the Son of man in heaven," the "signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars," and his "coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." And you misunderstand the symbolism in the language that foretells that God shall "send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

If you would read the message, you would begin to understand.

Don't be part of the problem. Be part of the solution.

Part of the Problem?

So.... what is the solution?

Is your solution to deny that Jesus was indeed God in the flesh?

What exactly is your main point in all this? Are you saying the claim that Jesus was God in the flesh has caused all the problems in his world?

I think not. I think the problem is that people have not followed the teachings of Jesus. They have pursued greed, false witness, atheism, murder, adultery and the like.

The problem is not whether Jesus was God or not , the problem is

that people have rejected the teachings of God.

Yes, you are part of the problem

Rather than ask us questions, why don’t you bother to read the message?

But, okay, I’ll play your game and say this. Of course we do not claim that Jesus caused all the problems in the world. That is ridiculous and only shows you don’t understand.

You are right in one thing, though. People have not followed the teachings of Jesus. And those people include many who claim to be Christians today, and have claimed to be Christians during the last sixteen centuries.

They actual problem is that many Christians do not understand the difference between the teachings of true servants of God, like Jesus, and the teachings of those who created misleading and even erroneous doctrines. And you, Bob, are one of those who believes in the teachings of those who created misleading and erroneous doctrines, some of which are written in post-fourth century scriptures and canon, and are reflected in the Nicene Creed.

I Did Not Say....

I never said that you said Jesus was the source of all the problems.

Where did you get that?

The problem is that this world is under the spirit of the evil one (Satan).

Jesus warned us about this world. And yes I do understand that evil has infiltrated the churches, government. On this we agree.

What we don't agree on is that Jesus was merely a "son of man".

Satan was thrown out of heaven because he was jealous of Jesus and his relationship with God the Father. This is

why the earth is the way it is. Satan wants to destroy God's people because he hates God and Jesus and his people.Satan has infiltrated the churches, government, etc.

But, you seem to lump all Christians together because of their "erroneous"

belief that Jesus is God.

Seems like Satan wants to keep Jesus from getting his due. He wants people to view him as merely a man.

I understand more than you think.

I will comment no further on this article and it's posted comments .

Time will bring all truth out.

I will be on the watch as Jesus commanded.

Yes, truth will come out, but not yours

Bob, I'm sorry, but you do not understand more than I think. I know what you think you understand, but your understanding is flawed.

You should remember that the Christ Jesus said that the "spirit of the Antichrist" was already in the world two thousand years ago. And even though I know you won't bother because you think you already know everything, you should read the message from the Spirit of truth.

This web site contains highlight of the main points in the message. And you should realize something very important.

If you and others like you already know the truth, why do the prophecies of every religion foretell of the coming on ONE who will issue judgment, guide us unto the real truth, and show us things to come?

That ONE is the son of man, the witness and servant of God, and the messenger for the Spirit of truth. And the message he delivers is at:

Now Bob relies on the "last resort"

When he can't refute the truth, he takes the last resort, and says: "Seems like Satan wants to keep Jesus from getting his due. He wants people to view him as merely a man."

In other words, when all else fails, he accuses us and the current son of man of being in league with "Satan." How convenient.

It's like when the other misguided Christians who want to rule the world in the name of religion accuse their critics of being "ruled by Satan," or "unpatriotic," or "secular humanists," or "misguided liberals," etc., etc., etc.

And by the way, Bob, the Christ Jesus was a man, but an enlightened one, spiritually anointed by God. That's what the title of Christ means. It's not his last name, but a title meaning an "Anointed One," like Messiah or Moshiach. Therefore, he was not Jesus Christ, but the Christ Jesus, or Jesus the Christ, a witness and servant of God, and a sacraficial Lamb of God.

The current son of man, also a witness and servant of God, is the "bridegroom lamb" of God, the messenger for the Spirit of truth. Just to set things straight.
