How Bad Does It Have To Get?

Really. Seriously. How Bad Does It Have To Get?

I certainly don’t have to tell you how bad things are. Most of us are painfully aware of it, and we know it’s only getting worse.

One of the reasons it’s getting worse is because many people are fighting over who is right, and it only produces more conflict, malice, toughness, and violence. It’s a downward spiral.

Ironically, those people who think they are the most right, are the most wrong. And many people don’t realize the consequences and impact that their anger, hate, greed and fear are having.

Tragically, even when most people are presented with the real truth, they don’t recognize it, or they dismiss it, or call it a lie. Many people cling to their egocentric notion of superiority, and self-righteousness, resenting those who disagree.

Meanwhile, there are some malicious "Christian" hypocrites who are gleefully thinking this means the time is soon coming when they will be magically beamed up to heaven while the rest of us will be "left behind" while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.

But then, those "Christians" are like some misguided Muslims and Jews who think that God’s (Allah’s) will is being done, and that God’s wrath is being visited upon the earth. They think God is on their side in their "holy war against evil." They think God is not being loving, but hateful, not being merciful, but vengeful, not being forgiving, but condemning and punitive.

But, while those hypocrites have God or Allah on their lips, and claim that God is on their side, they do not know God or Allah.

The truth is that our God is loving, merciful, forgiving, and nurturing, and most of the world’s problems have been caused by Man, not by God.

Man’s hate, anger, greed, fear, malice, avarice, mendacity, corruption and vain folly are the problem. All the wars, diseases, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts and the many other terrible things were prophesied because they were foreseen --- not because God would cause them, but because enlightened seers knew how and why Man would mess things up!

Granted, there are some scriptural words and phrases that would seem to indicate that God would "punish sinners," but those words and phrases were written as scare tactics. And, well meaning as they were, they were designed to exact obedience, just as strict and rigid patriarch demands obedience and threatens severe punishment for disobedience. But God is not a patriarch. As even Moses wrote, God is not a mortal, not a man, nor a son of man. And as the Christ Jesus said, No one has ever seen the shape of God, because God is not a man, and God is greater than the son of man.

Unfortunately, most Christians, even most of the original apostles, have misunderstood. And that is why Jesus said he had to go away and be seen no more, and because he had many more things to say, he would send the Spirit of truth, who would issue judgment, guide us unto truth, show us things to come, and glorify God and the Ancient One (aka the Christ), who is in heaven with God.

The seers, like Isaiah and the mortal Jesus, foresaw that we would go through this ordeal and tribulation prior to the coming of the "son of man" – not the son of man Jesus, but the next, modern son of man, also known as the witness and servant of God, and the messenger for the Spirit of truth.

Now, as prophesied, the son of man comes to issue judgment, guide us unto truth, and show us things to come. But he comes like a thief in the night, to take power away from the pretender to the throne who tries to rule the world with all the monetary and military might at his disposal.

He comes to take power away from all other leaders in the world who have fought for and gained power, and abuse it to further enrich themselves and their wealthy supporters. He also comes to take away myths and false beliefs, and remove the masks and facade behind which evil masquerades.

His work will result in a reformation of both religion and government, and that will take away the ill-gotten financial gains of many of those who now hold enormously excessive wealth, so that it may finally be fairly shared with those who generated the wealth in the first place. For the reformation will ensure the equality of all citizens, who in the future shall govern themselves, and use the common wealth for the common good.

We will either survive until the sun envelopes the Earth in millions of years or we will prematurely expire having carelessly and needlessly forfeited the future of the unborn for the mere accumulation of things man-made. An unemotional, instinctive creature would never have done this.

Get a grip on reality

Perception may be reality but not this one. There is not one shred of evidence to suggest that anything happening now has to do with the Bible, God or the end times. Humans made this mess and humans can fix it if we overthrow the elite who think they are gods. It is a copout to lay the blame on a prophesy that must be fulfilled. If it must be fulfilled then it will be and there is nothing you can do to stop it so why bother? This is the attitude of religious people. They are defeatists waiting on their heavenly reward which will never come. I am earth bound. The earth is in me and I in it. That is all there is. We are lucky to have this sliver of temporary conscious existence. When it's over no one knows what happens but we do know for sure that we do not know. That means all human theistic guess are complete bullshit and hope fantasies.

You misunderstand

You wrote: "It is a copout to lay the blame on a prophesy that must be fulfilled."

The message clearly states that prophecies were made because this tribulation was FORESEEN. Wise seers foresaw that Man would make a mess of things. So it's NOT that "prophecies must be fulfilled," as you claim. It's that what was foreseen has come to pass.

Nfamous, here's reality

Growing numbers of human beings are suffering from the impact of wars, diseases, pestilence, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts, and famines, along with many other terrible things.

That is exactly what the most enlightend prophets, like Jesus, foresaw. They could see how bad the greed and corruption would get now at the end of the age, prior to the divine intervention.

That's what his is about: Divine Intervention, provided in a free message written by a man who does not seek personal power, nor does he seek the limelight. He seeks only to serve God and provide the truth that will unite, empower, and liberate us all.

About the Messenger (Adamson)

To begin the article/page titled Author's Personal Note, he wrote:

God only knows when the rejection of this message will end. But, when it does, the whole world will become aware of it. And that will cause a lot of discussion about who and what I am.

On other pages I’ve explained what the most relevant prophecies about me are, and the page titled Prodigal Son of Man provides a very brief summary of my life. But, on this page I will tell you a little more, because I think you should know certain things about me, so there is no mistake.

But, before I "speak of myself," I should clarify what the Christ Jesus meant by the following statements.

"He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory. But he that seeks the glory of who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him." (John 7:18)

"When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come.

He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall declare it to you." (John 16:13_14)

I seek not to glorify myself, but to glorify God and the Ancient One (aka the Christ) who is in heaven with God. I bear his testimony, and declare it to you, and I do so anonymously to emphasize that I glorify God and the Ancient One in heaven, not myself, and to also emphasize that it is the truth, and nothing but the truth, that shall unite us, empower us all, and set us all free.

Furthermore, I do not speak of myself as a Christ, but as a servant of the Christ, and a servant of God, who is the Holy One and Creator by any other name.

Consider what Jesus said in context: "I tell you the truth; It is to your advantage that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in me [or my teachings]; of righteousness, because I go to our Father [to heaven] and you see me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself [but serve only as messenger]; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he declare, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall declare it to you." (John 16:7-15)

Also consider this: "He is my witness and my servant whom I have chosen, so you may know and believe me, and understand that I am the Holy One. Before me there was no God formed, and neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord God, and beside me there is no Savior." (Isaiah 43:10-11)

I fulfill Judeo-Christian prophecy, but it has taken me 37 years, after first witnessing God, to come to this point. And I know very well why it is written that God chastises those who God most loves, and that a servant of God should not grow weary of being chastised.

That is why I tell you I am only human, like you. I am from your midst and of your brethren. I am what I am. And even though I am a faithful servant of God, it is without false modesty that I confess I am certainly not "holier than thou."

I believe it is important that you know that. That is why I confess that I’ve been a fool many times in my life. I am a very weak and vulnerable man in many respects, and sometimes I even regard myself as a miserable excuse of a man.

Sometimes I regard myself as a failure, because that seems to be confirmed by the continuing rejection of my work. For even though the prophet Isaiah foresaw and wrote that I would deliver my work before me but fear that my work is in vain and for nought because it is at first rejected, that did not prevent me from fearing that it is indeed in vain and for nought. And, even though the Christ Jesus foresaw and said that I would at first be rejected by my generation, that did not prevent me from fearing that the rejection means I have simply failed.

I have continued because, even though it took many years to fact the fact, I was called by God and chosen to deliver the prophesied message from the Spirit of truth. But, even though I could not quit as long as there is still breath in my body and as long as I am still able to do this, at this point it would still appear that I am merely a man who has struggled to deliver a message, but has only grown old and more afflicted, and fallen short.

Often, however, things are not as they appear. When I overcome my negativity, I realize my egocentric fear of failure or error is merely the flip side of my egocentric notion that "I" have done something great. Fortunately, in my increasingly lucid moments I realize that both sides are part of the illusion of duality, and neither one is real. For as Jesus said, "Of myself I do nothing." So I somehow manage to put myself aside, let go of my egotism, and let God guide me in ways that often amaze me, and make me very grateful.

Quoted from: http://reformationcomingsoon.bravehost.com/AuthorNote.html

He goes on to talk about crucial events in his life, the difference between him and other spiritual teachers, etc. And I posted this because I think you should know at least a little bit about his character, humility, and self-deprecating tendencies. He fully acknowledges his human errors, failings and fallibility, while acknowledging the supremacy of the Divine.

Also Important About Adamson

Even though he uses Judeo-Christian terminology, he fulfills the prophecies of all religions, and fulfills the hopes of all the people of the world who seek peace, freedom, equality, and justice for all.

He uses Judeo-Christian terminology because Christianity is the largest and most powerful religion in the world. Also, Islam is the second largest, and both Christianity and Islam are based on the Abrahamic/Judaic acknowledgment of One God, One Holy One, the Eternal Divinity.

That is compatible and consistent with other religions, because in Hinduism that One is known as Brahman, in Buddhism as the Supreme Consciousness, in Taoism as the Absolute Tao, etc.

well mum...

...I tried to ask the same question... but far less artfully than you have.

Literary Jesus asks us the same question, "...how bad does it have to get?"  The answer is the same... you can't trust the figure-it-out-FOR-you pukes to come up with any answer other than one than preserves their jobs.

The "literal" Jesus  is a different question... and a dum one in my opinion.  Why is it that most "christians" seem contented to worship the Messenger and ignore the Message?  Just like the question of "what happens after death" is also a dum one.

We'll all find out soon enough, won't we?

Yes, some "Christians" worship an Idol

You are quite right.

That is why the modern messenger explains that Jesus was a son of man and servant-messenger of God, to correct Christians who have been led to believe that Jesus was "God Himself," or the "only begotten son of God."

Those who believe that worship an Idol.

As the Messenger says, this is the most precise prophecy about him:

"He is my witness and my servant whom I have chosen, so you may know and believe me, and understand that I am the Holy One. Before me there was no God formed, and neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord God, and beside me there is no Savior." (Isaiah 43:10-11)

Bush must go. End of story.
Jay FosterBush must go. End of story.

Since you're not accepting messages...

I thought you’d like to check out the political allegory of mine that I recently found a literary agent for. It’s a story set in the context of a teacher discussing with his class all of the evidence that the Bush administration is as corrupt as it is incompetent; and how to rectify the Constitutional crisis we face. It’s couched in a discussion about the urgent need to stop abusing Mother Nature. I wrote in 3 dozen celebrities to play the students, so it’s very funny despite how infuriating it is. You can read it at www.stoplittering.com/theswitch.htm      and, yes, StopLittering.com is my site.

If you like it let me know and you can read my larger manuscript Reality Check.

And enjoy this poem of mine…

If Jesus Were Alive Today

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd surely feel despair,
Amidst a world of plenty,
And a bounty that's not shared.

If Jesus were alive today,
He wouldn't understand,
The system of oppression,
And how so few give a damn.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd certainly be distraught,
Because the animals of Earth,
Are not treated as they ought.

If Jesus were alive today,
His eyes would have some tears,
And based on all the evidence,
I'd say he was sincere.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd have to jump and shout,
To wake us from our slumber:
"THE FUTURE IS IN DOUBT!!"

If Jesus were alive today,
You know he'd try in vain,
To save us from each other...
(No doubt he'd go insane.)

If Jesus were alive today,
I expect we'd be rebuked;
It is likely he'd remark:
"Knock it off before I puke."

If Jesus were alive today,
No way he'd vote for Bush;
To those who say he should,
He'd say,"Kiss my tush!"

If Jesus were alive today,
With Bushies he'd be pissed:
"Ignorance is no defence!
Otherwise, get yourself a psychiatrist."

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd put John Kerry in his place,
As the world's lamest candidate:
"Why'd they even let that Jackass race?!"

If Jesus were alive today,
Boy, would Congress get a smack,
For practically everything they've done,
Especially for trusting Jr. with Iraq.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd say the media was to blame:
"Don't think I haven't noticed,
That you people have no shame."

If Jesus were alive today,
The Democrats he would scorn,
For keeping out Wes Clark:
"Was it yesterday these fools were born?!"

If Jesus were alive today,
His sense of humor would be great.

Too wry, perhaps, for some,

But that’s how he’d get laid.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd be branded as a cynic,
Because no one wants to hear,
If it's raining at their picnic.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd force us all to see,
That hope and love are the answer,
To who we're supposed to be.

Wolfie

THEN THERE IS TOLLE

He writes that to be considered "normal" today is to act insane.

He is right I believe. We are a divine being but use our thoughts

that are an illusion to make us feel important. The other side of this

mishagos is them. If I / we are right then the others are wrong and

not worthy of anything but indifference or hate. The murdering of millions

because they did not believe exactly what the Church said was an

outgrowth of this ego-mania.

The Crusades was also. Stalin killing twenty million Russians for not

accepting his ego wishes is another. Would we not also feel that

the US / Neocons murder of children, women, and innocent men

,as well as torture, fit this description of insanity?

Ask not for whom the bell TOLLE'S, it tolls for all of us.

Prophecies

''Man’s hate, anger, greed, fear, malice, avarice, mendacity, corruption and vain folly are the problem. All the wars, diseases, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts and the many other terrible things were prophesied because they were foreseen ''

Wars, diseases, famines etc. have been present all along human history; so by prophesizing that they will happen again, you have as much chance to get it wrong than by announcing that you will die someday.

If it's what you call being a prophet, I can do the job anytime; prophecies  would be more convincing if  prophets could predict dates, but they don't seem to be too good at it: I lost track of the number of times the end of the world was announced by some religious nut --the date came and went and nothing happened.

And by the way, if wars are indeed man's responsability, diseases, pestilence, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts are essentially natural phenomenon, therefore can be seen as Godmade, although man can play a part. That's precisely why they are called ''acts of God''.

Re: Prophecies

Francine,

Of course there have been wars and natural disasters throughout history. The point is that it was foreseen that at the end of the age there would be more. For example, from the First World War to the Iraq War, with all those in between and at the same time, and all the other terrible things that have been happening increasingly.

Many people also suffer from the impact of natural disasters, which are not so-called "acts of God." As you pointed out, most are random acts of nature, caused by weather, climate changes, and geological changes, including those caused by global warming.

As Adamson puts it: "... some ‘natural" disasters are really the indirect result of man's greed, carelessness, iniquity, and even negative emotions, because this world and all life on this planet are one interdependent ecosystem. When significant parts of it are badly damaged or in disharmony or out of balance, or there is widespread human pain or suffering, it causes many different kinds of harmful effects on, around and within this planet. It is as if our whole world is like us, and when our body, mind and spirit-soul are not in harmony and well, we are troubled and suffer in certain ways."

The point of Adamson’s message is that prophets foresaw most of this, and knew most of it would be the consequence of Man’s greed, carelessness, bigotry, hypocrisy, self-importance, self-righteousness, hate, anger and violence.

The prophets of all religions also foresaw that there would be a "divine intervention" at the end of this passing age. Even Jesus said so, even though his use of the term, end of the aeon (age) was mistranslated as "end of the world" in the book of Matthew, and the term "the end" in other gospels was misinterpreted.

All genuine prophets said there would be a judgment issued, and that humanity would be guided to the truth and shown what is to come. But, the messenger would first be rejected by his generation because does NOT rise up and seek power from behind a podium or pulpit. He rejects the worldly throne and the limelight, knowing that it will be the truth, and nothing but the truth, that will unite us, empower us, and liberate us.

Fortunately, the message from the Spirit of truth is designed not to condemn, but to educate; not to punish, but to correct; and not to destroy, but to save.

It is designed to dispel myths, expose false beliefs, expose harmful, divisive leadership, and improve the human condition for all the people of the world, regardless of their religion, nationality, race, culture, or financial status, for we are all equal joint heirs to the "new" world to come.

A really militant comment

There is no god and things will continue to get worse as long as religous zealots f*ck without condoms.

I've studied theology and its relationship to government for many years. A few years ago I stumbled upon the web site of an author who I felt was on the right track, and I've monitored it since then. Now I feel he has finally gotten the message highlights complete. I believe, very deeply, that the message he delivers will actually change and save this world. It's what everyone needs to hear. That's not militant, but it's not quite accurate

The problem is that most religious people don't know what God is. And that's why so many agnostics and atheists are justified in being critical of religion.

As Adamson says: "God is the eternal, omnipresent Great Spirit, the Supreme Consciousness, the Divine Light-Energy-Source of our existence, and the primordial vibration or "Word" that was in the beginning and is made flesh in all of us."

God, as even Moses wrote, is NOT a mortal, not man, nor a son of man. But most Christians have been led to believe otherwise.

Jesus hated phonies and blockheads.

Hatred is the source of all thought and action.  Anger and fear are just tiring, but a Rosa Parks type of black hatred lasts forever.
