It has become increasingly evident that the imposing and aggressive American "Christian Right" is now so powerful that being a Christian has become a litmus test for becoming president.

That is why John McCain has claimed that America is a "Christian nation," identifying with James Hagee, Franklin Graham and Pat Robertson. That is also why Barack Obama has resorted to talking about the role his Christian faith played in his community work to "fulfill God’s will," and do "the Lord’s work."

That is pandering. It is in ignorance of the U.S. Constitution, and it betrays the intent of the founding fathers who wanted to establish religious freedom, and freedom from religious bigotry.

We need to act to finally establish that freedom, once and for all. And we, the people, can and must do it. For as we’ve seen during the last 28 years, when good, humble people remain silent, it enables power-hungry, greedy, aggressive people to gain and abuse power.

We must now act to establish our rights to the equality of our religion, sex, race, nationality, and culture, and the rights to life, liberty, equality, justice, safety, universal health care, complete public education (from universal preschool-child care to post-graduate school), fair and adequate compensation for your labor, adequate social security income (if and when needed, so that no one suffers from hunger, poverty, or homelessness), and real freedom in the pursuit of happiness.

We the people can and must establish those rights and ensure that the common wealth is used for the common good. And we can do that by taking peaceful concerted action to establish new Constitutional Amendments under Article V of the U.S. Constitution, guided by an Updated Declaration of Independence, which has now been provided for us.

We the people can bring about a peaceful reformation of government, so that America may lead the world in liberating humanity from all divisive leaders, like the self-important and self-righteous partisan political leaders and sectarian religious leaders who fight for power over others and aggressively strive to rule over us.

We the people can ensure that our government becomes truly of, by, and for the people, and becomes a shining example so that the people of the world are no longer divided and ruled by dictators, tyrants, or even partisan presidential pretenders to the throne. We can share the thrones of our nations, and we can share the power and wealth and domain, as equal joint heirs. We can ensure that our government no longer serves Mammon and the wealthiest few, but instead serves all the people.

We need a reformation that will cement a permanent wall of separation between government and religion, and government will respect all religions equally, and also respect atheists and agnostics.

But we also need a reformation of religions, so that they all serve their main, true purpose, to unite the family of humanity under our Great Spirit-God-Parent, who is God by any other name. For however you perceive or conceive of Deity, there is but one Divine Holy One, which is God. Whatever you call it, and whether you regard it as One or many or All, it is still God. Every thing originated from and came out of the One, and every thing returns to the One that is God, the Source.

It is time to understand that God is not an idol, not a man, nor a son of man, and never has been and never will be. For God is the Supreme Consciousness, the omnipresent and eternal Divine Light-Energy-Source of our existence, and the primordial vibration or "Word" that is made flesh in all of us. So a reformation would correct idol worshipers who have not realized what God is, and it will dispel the myths and erroneous doctrines of men that have created so much conflict and division.

However, while this is in fulfillment of the religious prophecies of the world, it is not as religious people have expected.

That is, there will not be one person to fulfill the role of the Moshiach of Judaism, another as the Christ of Christianity; another as the Imam Mahdi of Islam, another as the Buddha Maitreya of Buddhism, another as the Kalki Avatar of Hinduism, another as the Saoshyant of Zoroastrianism, and another as Melchizedek the King of Peace.

One son of man, one witness-servant-messenger of God now fulfills all prophecy, to issue judgment, guide us unto truth, and show us things to come. But this time he comes like a thief in the night, to take power away from the pretender to the throne who tries to rule the world with all the monetary and military might at his disposal. In fact, the messenger’’s work will take power away from ALL the leaders in the world who have fought for and gained power, and abuse it to further enrich themselves and their wealthy supporters. And the message he has already made available will enable us, the humble and loving people of the world, to peacefully take power into our own hands and inherit the earth.

The New Reformation will correct the spiritually blind religious leaders who have led their blind flocks into aggressive and offensive attempts to establish ruling theocracies. The Reformation will enable religious equality and pluralism to begin to flourish. Religions will become as one family tree, and the leaves of the tree shall heal the nations. It will have many branches, called churches, synagogues, temples, ashrams, mosques, houses of worship, meeting houses, or whatever their congregations wish to call them. And they will all teach and emphasize that we are to be equal, harmonic members of One Family, called Humanity, and we will learn to celebrate our diversity!

To counter the aggression and fear-mongering of the "Christian Right," the messenger explains that there will not be an individual "Antichrist" who comes to power to rule the world, for the spirit of the Antichrist was already in the world two thousand years ago, as Jesus said. And, even though it is still alive in George W. Bush and all other arrogantly proud and militant leaders who lust for power and abuse it to try to rule the world by force of arms in the name of God and Country, the spirit of the Antichrist is getting weaker and weaker by the day. And soon all the divisive false prophets and false shepherds who are driven by it will lose face, and lose power.

We can indeed "meddle" in religion

In fact, the prophecies of most religions, especially Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Zoroastrianism foretell of the coming of the one who issues judgment, guides us unto truth, shows us things to come, and glorifies and clarifies the teachings of the true and genuine prophets, buddhas, avatars, christs, messiahs, imams, sages, etc., who have come before.

This comes at the end of the passing age (aeon), as Jesus and many others foretold, and it's necessary because now, more than ever before, spiritually blind leaders alienate and lead their blind flocks far astray, even into war.

One Ring...

"One son of man, one witness-servant-messenger of God now fulfills all prophecy, to issue judgment, guide us unto truth, and show us things to come. But this time he comes like a thief in the night, to take power away from the pretender to the throne who tries to rule the world with all the monetary and military might at his disposal."

Sounds vaguely familiar...

"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."

Be, know, and do

Many have tried to predict the date of the Rapture, and yet not a single one has been correct thus far.  The signs of the times are exactly that - signs; you can either view them and conclude "X" or your can pass through them and dwell on X.  X will happen on its own time and you have no control over when that time is.

However, you do have control over yourself.

And by passing through the signs, you spend less time concerned about prognostication and far more time focused on the exemplification of a life that matters.  Be the person you know that your are.  Know what matters most to you and its priority.  Do the work to exemplify your life as one that matters to you and those around you.

Or... as my Irish grandmother would say, "Feck them all but for the six," made in reference to her pallbearers.

Tom, what "rapture"?

Tom, you wrote: "Many have tried to predict the date of the Rapture, and yet not a single one has been correct thus far."

If you think Adamson talks about a so-called "Rapture" that so many "fundamentalist Christians do, you are mistaken.

Adamson exposes and dispels that myth, and suggests that it was created to make the blind flocks of spiritually blind shepherds feel "holier than thou," that they have been "saved" and will be magically beamed up to heaven while the rest of us are "left behind" while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.

Wrong.

On the page titled Prophecies About the Messenger, Adamson wrote:

"Jesus said when the ‘Spirit of truth’ comes to you, ‘you shall know that I am in God, and you in me, and I in you.’ You will know that we are in fact One in the Spirit."

"However, it happens to individuals, each in their own time and each in their own way. It is not a collective experience. There will not be a so-called ‘Rapture of the Church,’ for while that idea is popular among so-called ‘born-again Christians’ (and was the inspiration for the misguided and misleading ‘Left Behind’ book series), it is merely a fantasy and myth."

"The ‘rapture’ myth misleads people to think they will collectively be ‘beamed up’ by God, magically, out of this ‘evil’ world to their heavenly reward. But that idea comes from one single idea Paul may have written in a letter to the Thessalonians, and the trouble is that what we find written there is not correct in certain instances. For instance, Paul thought that the ‘second coming of Jesus’ and the ‘end of the world’ was imminent and would come during his lifetime. But he misunderstood and was wrong on both counts. In fact, Jesus will not come again in this world, and the world will not end as self-righteous religious zealots think it will."

The messenger rapture - serving God and the Ancient One

"Tom, what 'rapture'?"

Rapture as in "a state of elated bliss" – something that Adamson clearly expresses in his writings.

"If you think Adamson talks about a so-called 'Rapture' that so many fundamentalist Christians do, you are mistaken."

Adamson supplants the concept of the Rapture for that of the "messenger" that serves God and the Ancient One. This is trading in once concept for another – but both distinctly spiritual. Aside from Adamson's more secular-styled approach, I fail to see much of a difference between him and other fundamentalist religious types.

So instead of being "beamed up", the majority of humankind via a collective sigh realizes that the message offered by the messenger is the truth, they rise up to cast down the selfish and excessively proud leaders, and the meek inherit the earth. I suppose it'll be at that time that lion shall lay down with the lamb.

Nice vision, huh? The only difference I see is a more deliberate appeal (aka pandering) to our intellect and ability to reason rather than our faith and belief in a Higher Power. In the end, I'm left asking, "Where's the beef?"

No, Tom, it's not that.

Tom, in assuming what Adamson says, you wrote: "Instead of being 'beamed up, the majority of humankind via a collective sigh realizes that the message offered by the messenger is the truth, they rise up to cast down the selfish and excessively proud leaders, and the meek inherit the earth. I suppose it'll be at that time that lion shall lay down with the lamb."

The "rapture," is the ecstatic bliss and overwhelming divine Love an individual experiences when they are "carried away in spirit to that high and holy place where God inhabits eternity." It's what one experiences when they go INTO the Light at the end of the tunnel, and are thus actually reborn of the Spirit.

Adamson describes it in his Memoirs, when he was 30 years old. He explains the opening of the "seven seals of revelation," the opening of the "seven chakras," and the opening of the Book of Life or Akashic Record.

It's very real. But the idea of the "Rapture of the Church" is a myth, and unfortunately it was designed to make blind flocks feel superior to everyone else who has not been "saved" or "born again." It's an idea sold by preachers who love to rake in money from their blind flocks, alienate them from mainstream society, and sell them lots of goods while building up their group ego.

That's why there are so many arrogantly proud and militant people claiming to be the only "true" Christians, and in that respect they are very similar to extremist Muslims and and Jews who also believe they are the only "true" servants of God/Allah. They are all wrong.

Heaven is within, and right here at hand

Even Jesus said so. But, he said our "eye must be single" to see it, and not clouded by the egocentric illusion of duality.

But what's important here, now, on earth, is that we wake up and realize that we, the people, CAN establish government that is actually of the people, by the people, and for the people.

We do NOT have to continue to be ruled by the wealthiest few and their lobbyists, their politicians, their corporations, their oil companies, their drug companies, their insurance companies, their credit card companies, etc.

There is a better way, at: http://reformationcomingsoon.bravehost.com

The one prophesied by all the world's great religions

That is a nice and very thoughtful letter to the world.  Luckily there are quite a few people who think along similar lines. Sadly there are lots of myopic minds who think that their way (religion) is the only one, and that all the others are mistaken.   It's time for our terribly dysfunctional human family to get it together - to become functional and live in peace.      Acting as an agent of divine intervention, the one prophesied by all the world's great religions (and known by many different names) will soon inspire mankind, publicly - openly from the world stage, to see itself as one family and to rebuild the world so that it will be a great place for everyone.   He has an indestructible physical body and will soon present His credentials to the entire world.

Jon, you've been misled

Here's what the son of man (Adamson) says about misguided "saviors," including the one you speak of.

I should also tell you that there are some other spiritual teachers who are teaching many of the core universal truths, but couch their teaching with other claims that they are unique, and special [or that they know who and where the Christ-Avatar-Buddha is].

For example, there is one person, also an anonymous author, who has written a document called "The Final Freedoms." He claims it is "the first wholly new and complete interpretation of the teachings of Jesus the Christ and The Law for two thousand years." However, that is simply not true. Moreover, it is obvious to me that some of those who have studied it and have been advocating it on the Internet do not understand what God is, and are still in the dark even after reading and studying the writing.

Another person calls himself "The Reluctant Messenger," and on his web site he claims that he was taught by and serves the spirit of departed enlightened beings, and he too attempts to explain the meaning of the Bible and ties his explanation to all religions and spiritual teachings.

Another person, Benjamin Creme, has for a long time attempted to serve as the herald for "Maitreya," a "new Christ-Avatar-Buddha," who Creme claims is an immortal being of light who assumed a bodily form in 1977, and can change form, and will reveal himself to everyone telepathically as soon as a "coming economic collapse" occurs.

Of course, there are many others making all different kinds of claims about a Christ and/or Avatar and/or Buddha, etc. But I mention those three because I think the authors of the literature are well meaning. I haven’t read all their work, but I’ve read enough to think they may understand much of religion and spiritual teachings. It seems to me, upon a cursory examination of their work, that they recognize the cause of most of the problems of the world, and they understand certain parts of the solution. Therefore, some of the information they provide may have value for those who are drawn to their teaching. At least they are trying to bring people together on a path of fairness, peace and equality, and that’s good.

However, none of them fulfill Judeo-Christian prophecy. And while I realize that it may seem self-important and self-righteous of me to assert that I am the prophesied witness and servant of God, the son of man, and the messenger for the Spirit of truth, I must say I am he.
