For OpEdNews: Mark Sashine - Writer Russian Saying Everyone of us who had been a adult and a parent knows what happens when a gang of shitty little brats is caught with their pants down in doing something ludicrous, like torturing an animal, bullying a weakling or touting a girl. The brats show their little teeth and engage in several stages of the defensive behavior:
Stage 1-Denial:
-We didn’t do it.
-We couldn’t do such a thing. Why don’t you believe us?
-We were not even there. He (she, them) can confirm that we were not even there.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->The victim ( if human) is confused. There was someone else.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->We never did that before ( were never caught- MS), so why would we do it now.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Don’t we understand how bad it is? We would never even think about such thing.
Stage 2- When confronted with the evidence:
-We didn’t mean it.
-The victim is lying. It wasn’t like that at all.
-It was an accident.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Ok, we did it but then we wanted to correct the damage.
