After introducing their credentials as gay rights activists in the wake of the Mark Foley sex scandal last election cycle, conservatives are waving the banner of feminism like it's on fire.

Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves Tuesday after a long hiatus and jumped right into the most exciting subject of debate since the primaries ended: Gov. Sarah Palin and her pregnant, un-married teenage daughter.

Limbaugh hammered away on a handful of themes: 1. The Left's ridicule of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her family will backfire. 2: Gov. Palin's daughter, Bristol, made a classic "average American" mistake, endearing her to born-again Christians. 3: Gov. Palin is energizing heartland Middle Americans and "values voters." 4. Leftists are sexists.

In his "monologue," Limbaugh led the conservative charge to play politics with the Bible. Limbaugh praised 17-year-old Bristol for keeping her baby and then, despite boasting 3 divorces and a pain-killer addiction, drew a moral contrast with Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama saying, "Obama supports the killing of babies."

Pure libelous slander. Obama supports a woman's right to terminate an unwanted fetus...slightly different than supporting the "killing of babies." Supporting the "killing of babies" is what conservatives like Rush Limbaugh did to instigate the Iraq War. They've cheered it every day. The bombing of Baghdad and our subsequent occupation KILLED (yes, the same word as seen and heard in the phrase, "baby killers!") 655,000 civilians, including many living, breathing babies.

But the contradiction and hypocrisy only begins here. Pre-marital sex is taboo in the Christian culture. In fact it's as serious as, gasp, homosexuality. No kidding!

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9) Bristol, bless her minor heart, is hell-bound for the sin of fornication, in case you didn't identify her particular offense.

Isn't it fascinating that getting drunk is just as sinful as homosexuality? Use it wherever possible. Memorize this quote, ye gays.

But I digress. So Bristol Palin has sinned her way out of the inheritance of the kingdom of God. You'll remember that the Right Wing savages homosexuals for their behavior.

Here's the late televangelist, Jerry Falwell, on homosexuals: "These perverted homosexuals...absolutely hate everything that you and I and most decent God-fearing people stand for...Make no mistake. These deviants seek nothing less than total control and influence in society, politics, our schools, and in our exercise of free speech and religion. If we do not act now, homosexuals will control America!"

Just sub in the word: fornicators or drunkards and, as we learned in 1 Corinthians 6:9, there would be no difference.

So Christians put sinners in this light when the sinners are Liberals. Here's how Rush Limbaugh treats a high-powered Republican's daughter who has fornicated and, by inference, seeks to "control America:" "We all make mistakes," Rush says, like he's explaining away GITMO all over again. "All human beings fail to live up to perfection..."

So Liberal sinners are the irredeemable devil, but when the daughter of the Republican candidate for VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA commits a sin tantamount to the same sin of homosexuality as seen in Evangelical hate-speech its the cutest thing in the world; an American family overcoming their struggles.

Washington DC power and influence might buy pardons and exonerations in court rooms here on this earth, but even Evangelicals must admit that these earthly considerations cannot corrupt the judgment of God.

But here's Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Miss.) trying to change God's standards again.
