John McCain is an honorable man with a history of service to this country. We should all respect his courage and sacrifice to our nation. That's what MY candidate tells me about John McCain.

The folks who want me to-vote-FOR McCain had a very-DIFFERENT-message a few years ago:

When the people currently running McCain's campaign were-campaigning George Bush-AGAINST the self-described "maverick",-THEIR smear campaign went like this:
John McCain is a TRAITOR who sold out his country. After just a few minutes of torture when his life was threatened, he sold out his friends, his comrades, his principles and most importantly his COUNTRY just to save his own life. The reason he let others leave early and stayed in captivity was that he feared he would be killed by his own men for treason and cowardice. This man has no honor. Oh and by the way..he fathered an out of wedlock black baby with one of his servants!
Many of those "swiftboating" websites about John McCain's alleged cowardice still exist on the net. They detail how he supposedly gave up vital information about everything from-his comrades' flight operations to the size, numbers and vulnerabilities of aircraft carriers at the time.

I never believed those charges. I always thought of McCain as an honorable man who stood up for his principles regardless of the pressure against him. Friends say that he was the kind of person you needed in a crisis. He'd "have your back".

Regardless of which scenario about his past is true, there is now one indisputable fact: : John McCain is a political COWARD and TRAITOR to this country!

He abandoned every principle he's ever had with this campaign. He caved to his-most diabolical-enemies when his political life was threatened. When given the choice of letting his campaign die with the dignity and courage of-his past convictions, to "go down fighting" as the soldiers say, what did he do??? The man who would "Rather lose an election than lose a war"-SURRENDERED to his radical right wing-base-to save himself!

COUNTRY FIRST? Yeah right!-
McCain-was publicly pushed to his knees and paraded around the base camp-with his lips planted firmly on the asses of-those-"political agents of intolerance" who reveled in his defeat and took over command of his campaign!!

To make certain that he was truly broken, they forced him to choose one of their own as his successor. He had met Sarah Palin only once, but in reality the choice was not his, He had been tortured into accepting it or dying politically.

With that fateful choice, he sold out his best friend and staunch comrade-Joe Lieberman. Lieberman-is the-honorable hero. He-bucked his own party to fight for his best friend-and by doing so-he sacrificed his OWN political life. McCain spit on that sacrifice.
-More importantly-McCain's political cowardice has sold ALL of us out! He is a noticeably broken man.
The spark in his eyes has been replaced by a glazed over look.
He's being trodden out on stage, reciting memorized right wing lies like a hypnotized Manchurian candidate.
His campaign has launched some of the most disgusting and unbelievable attacks I've ever witnessed, all ending-with the standard line "I'm John Mccain and-I approved this message".
The John McCain-I knew-and respected would NEVER "approve those messages!".

This is the anniversary of September 11th. When our country was attacked-I, like many others, experienced-a-shock that-I sincerely hoped never to-have again. It was a feeling of-hopelessness,of dread, the idea that the end was near and that we might not survive.-I honestly felt that the American way of life was over.

Since then-I have only experienced that horror once more. The day that John McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Sarah Palin as PRESIDENT??
God help us all.

And God forgive John McCain: political coward and traitor.
