For OpEdNews: Professor Fandel - Writer
I have been working hard for nearly eight years to affect the impeachment and arrest of everyone at the top of the current Bush administration and of those who were in Republican control of Congress because they all have committed (or allowed) high crimes against the USA, the international community (World), and the planet. They have compromised our very existence and have delivered no benefit to humanity.
Indeed, these purported stewards of our democracy and Constitution can be ranked among the most inhumane leaders of all time. They have the kind of power that kills those they have been elected to work for. They are criminals.
All any correct-thinking, conscientious American citizen need think about in making this decision is what they've done, not what they've said.
Think and act now! Be patriotic! Work to pass HR 1531, which would not allow Bush to pardon Cheney (and others) who recently have admitted to condoning and mandating torture, to illegally revealing the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame, and more. This is a set up to GET a pardon.
If you are a private citizen, I implore you to use your constitutional rights to stop a criminal from pardoning criminals by asking your members of the U.S. Congress to co-sponsor HR 1531, preventing Bush from performing a blanket pardon of his administration.
We would be in jail for much, much less. Why aren't they already?
If you are a member the U.S. Congress, you must stop criminality, thus, you MUST co-sponsor the "House Resolution 1531 Against the Bush Blanket Pardons." It is your duty to uphold the laws of our U.S. Constitution.
Once this pardon is blocked, however, our work is not done.
We must move forward to effect the arrest, indictment, conviction, and imprisonment of everyone who is, or was in, the Bush White House. This includes, among others, George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Karl Rove, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, ex-Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, and ex-Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert.
If the U.S. government, and we U.S. citizens, do not do this, I guarantee you, other governments and peoples of the world will do much more than throw shoes at the criminals ... perhaps the International World Court (The Hague) will wield their power.
It waits in the wings for the criminals of the George W. Bush administration.
