uh oh. the right is going for Democracy's jugular.

The bill is signed. Next step, reconciliation in the senate. And now, 13 state attorneys general have sued to stop the bill. I wrote last week: Will
Supreme Court Kill the Obama Health Care Reform Plan?

With 13 states attacking the bill, the idea that the Supreme court could slap down Obama's, Pelosi's and REid's work is looking more and more likely.

Filiings have begun. It is expected it will take 11-13 months to reach the Supreme court. By then, the republicans may have enough people in the senate to block ANY appointee Obama designates.

This looks like a serious attempt to shift the balance of power even further to the right wing controlled supreme court-- a very dangerous situation.

A few declarations.
-While I'm registered as a Democrat, I consider myself to be a dynamic critic of the Democratic party, just as, well, not quite as much, but almost as much as I am a critic of republicans.
