I'll keep dreaming of something like this happening: one candidate wins in each of these; New England, The West Coast, South West and the South, and so on. That would throw the Election into a Newly Elected House, which around that time would be a call for an Article V Constitutional Convention to come up with something that works in this 21st Century.
