Excellent analysis of political environment in US of A. Well worth the read if you're interested in progressive change.

Their proposed remedy plausible -- ongoing local resistance fostered and overseen by professional organizers -- but difficult to achieve. As an old community organizer myself and one unable to support myself or my family in that capacity, my immediate concern is the range of barriers, mainly practical and centered on the support these folks will need, that will have to be overcome. In short, good analysis balanced by the need to acquire some trial-and-error learning. But why not? I've borrowed my own personal mantra from Joe Hill -- "Don't mourn, organize!"
