Tweet: Ever since hearing of the Mondragon Cooperative of the Basque in Spain, have figured it was the way to get an honest wage from a good job. 45% of its profits go to the worker owners, who cash it in when they retire. The Ceos earn mainly 5 times what the rank and file earn, who do each have a vote in how the company is run. It owns its own Collage which trains its workers. It's not perfect but its a model that companies and cities could use to restore good jobs, from the bottom up. Sure a few screws need to be loosened at the top
