The Call of the Land: An Agrarian Primer for the 21st Century: .ly/hMbPiX

Let's not confuse "agriculture" with "agrarianism" says Steven McFadden in his new book, The Call of the Land. Then we might think more deeply about our relationship to the earth.

Back in the old days of the Internet there was Yellowtimes.org and FromTheWilderness. It was a sad day when Yellowtimes was taken down and not a very good day when Mike Ruppert gave up on FromTheWilderness because of the physical attacks on his office and destruction of his equipment, some he says were by the FBI. So it goes for enemies of The Treason.

Anyway, Mike Ruppert has a brilliance and understanding that is hard to match and his video at YouTube "Collapse," is relevant viewing. Ruppert is back with a new website at http://www.collapsenet.com/ Ruppert says the answer to the collapse is localization and building community and the first thing everyone needs to do is grow food. He also promotes the website at Transition U.S.: http://transitionus.org/

Ruppert says the depression that is coming will be multiple times worse than the Great Depression which may be why Gerald Celente calls is calling it the Greatest Depression. The definition of word "depression" is at question, but the view that those under the poverty line and near the poverty line are the determining factor, pretty much makes it agreeable that the Greatest Depression is with us. Ruppert said in December the Republicans will allow states to go bankrupt to break the unions and that California, Michigan, and Illinois will do so immediately as will Los Angeles, Chicago, and Detroit.

Gentlemen, start your planting.
