Of course, this is a horrible way to run the government, but the Tea Party Republicans do not care.  A switch to debt-free money, which ought to have been done long ago, during the credit crisis in 2008-09, is the only way to really end the ever-growing debt crisis, but this seems to be off the radar for the idea-insulated Administration (once Dennis Kucinich left Congress, it wasn't even part of a bill anymore.
