Tweet: This is a excellent article concerning the capitalist legacy. I thought it was easy to understand the writers point of view. And he made some very valid points that would be hard to strike down. I agree that within the current environment of politics you can be made to feel unpatriotic by speaking out against the capitalists on the right. That is terribly unjust because questioning the status quo is what it means to be American in my view. Not to mention the fact that even the founders knew at the very start of this country that allowing corporations to get control of our government, even if just through our elected Politian's, was a death wish for the democratic society. When the people lose their status among the bureaucrats in Washington, we as a country, as a united front, have lost everything that makes this country work. Capitalism can be a dirty word. In this case I feel it is.
