Worker Ownership Cooperatives are Our way out of This Mess: click here
There is a Worker Ownership Mondragn Cooperative of in Spain. It was started in the 50s and is now a 23 Billion a year business. Where Mondragon is, have heard unemployment is around 1%, while the rest of Spain is over 20%. It donates 10% of profits to Community needs. The workers get half of what is left, with the rest being reinvested, in the Business, through its own Bank, which also funds the Collage that does train its workers. The CEOs earn only 4-6 time what the rank and file do.
