This is good news and an opportunity for governors to play a historic role. The first governor to pass a single payer program will set the dominos moving that will lead to nationwide single payer health care. Schwarzenegger and Rendell are at the top of the opportunitiy list. Will they chose to embrace the opportunity or let history pass them by.
