It has long been a talking point staple of the Right, cheer-led by many of broadcasting Lords of Loud that those who want to pull out most of our troops in Iraq are part of the hate America crowd who want us to lose in Iraq.
It would follow that if a parent wants to pull their son or daughter, caught in the a vicious whirlpool in the middle of the ocean, out of the water, they want their drowning child to fail in their swim to Europe.
Yesterday, House Republican leader, John Boehner R-Ohio, called Senate GOP defectors on the President's Iraqi policy in the Senate, "Wimps."
Question to ask Rep. Boehner...
"Are those same parents, also wimps?"
