A very neglected situation exists today that Progressives and Democrats will not acknowledge or support. And that is George Sr., Brent Scowcroft, and James L. Pavitt have broken ranks with George Bush Juniors republican agenda.

George Sr. was against the invasion of Iraq, and he said:

I have always learned as a young boy to always honor my father and my mother. We often can not understand why George W. Junior will not listen to the people, and how obvious can it be...that if he will not listen to dear ole dad....what makes us believe he will listen to US? Fat Chance!

We have seen the pages of history turn and compare the two Presidents father and son, and can see an entirely different set of values. We can marvel and appreciate the wise decisions George Sr. made with help from key advisors such as Scowcroft, and how his legacy in ending the cold war, and his tolerance in being more of a kind and gentler nation by not going into Bagdad, is something George W. Junior fails to appreciate.

Even Brent Scowcroft has challenged George W. Junior by saying:(note:this is a good lengthy read)

George Bush Sr., CIA director Tenant were against the invasion of Iraq. It was Rumsfeld and Cheney who did not want to take a back seat to the CIA again. After all; the Pentagon and Halliburton are in competition to the CIA and the Carlyle Group. The Pentagon has always been at odds with the CIA in history reviews; by who controls intelligence, and who controls budgets. Rightly so, the Pentagon was viewed as a military muscle, not the intelligence procurer of the United States. But Rumsfeld wanted control, and after they claimed flight 77 hit the Pentagon, it is obvious that intelligence did not warn them, and this time by God it would not happen again. George Bush Junior sided with Rumsfeld and Cheney;without his seasoned judgement in knowing that 911 was really the disenfranchisement between American agencies.

George Bush Sr. was instrumental in trying to get Rumsfeld to resign. He said: http://www.themoderatevoice.com/posts/1149797735.shtml

It is clear that George Bush Sr. has been on the side of decent respected Reublicans. He has proven that Nepotism does not work in American Politics. He is the example why we need an ammendment to prevent family political dynasties. Why is George W. Junior throwing the baby out with the wash? Clearly he is.

I would think we Progressives and Democrats would lend our support to George Bush Sr. and Brent Scrowcroft. They are the real character and mold to American Republican leadership. George Bush Junior is essentially neglecting the prowness and prudent scholarship of his father in developing diplomatic tolerance, for gradual change and respect of nations in the determination in understanding Democracy and its value to the world.

My question to Democrats,Progressives, and Conservatives is this! Would you protect and stand by the Republican Party for the next election, if we went forward with the impeachment of George W. Jr?
And how could we guarantee that his mistakes would be brought to bear? Bring on the impeachment first, or the election? Perhaps if George Bush Jr. resigned that would solve alot of problems. But to insure an outcome, I think the public would prefer Republicans after the impeachment process has been met. Especially, when the charge is led by Poppy, and the real members of distinction in American Politics.

There are certainly things that are secrets to both father and son Presidents. Blackmail is certainly in the equation. You rat on me Dad...I will spill the beans on Al Qaeda. Well I think George Sr. does not have to worry about such things.

If there was a choice to be made in impeaching George Bush Junior in order to save the creditabilty of the Republican Party and to pull world public opinion toward more of the decent Republican moderates under George Sr. I think George Sr. would favor his sons admonishment.

Would he let his Son throw the world into total chaos because he did not have the courage to stand his own ground? I don't think so. George Bush Sr. is a sharp operator and skilled political professional. George Sr. knows that without his judgements we would still be having the Cold War on top of Iraq.

We Progressives and Democrats need to separate the Goats from the Sheep, the Wheat from the Chaff. We need to support Bush Sr. and the constituency he represents, only if he takes down Jr. and lives by his words for the future of the Republican Party. He must work toward ending the occupation of Iraq, and Japan. He must work to end the crisis in N. Korea, and bring our country on a solid footing which unites the people, instead of the huge void we suffer from today. If not we will surely go down this path of indictments and partisan wars.... click here. http://pages.prodigy.net/aplus_omega/300b.htm
