Free Film Showing: "Invisible Ballots"
On Saturday, April 1, 7:30 PM, the Social Action Committee of the Jewish
Reconstructionist Congregation in Evanston will present a showing of the film,
Invisible Ballots: A Temptation for Electronic Vote Fraud. Members of the Illinois
Ballot Integrity Project, a software engineer and a citizen activist will lead a discussion
following the film.
Tens of thousands of electronic voting machines using secret software are being
installed across the country as part of the Help America Vote Act. No matter what one's
political affiliation is, becoming informed about electronic voting is incumbent upon
every citizen who cherishes the belief that the future of the country lies with its voters.
