Science and the truth:

Science and true religion have a seemingly paradoxical view regarding the reality we live in. If each would only pause for a moment, it will be found that each maintains a half Truth about the surrounding reality. The scientist has profound knowledge based on observation and the gathering of information empirically, while the religious individual views reality only between the covers of his or her religious literature. Neither is necessarily spiritually developed in this aspect. Science lacks the knowledge regarding the Arcane Wisdom of the ancient philosophers, as does the "religious" individual. Each may be rigidly attached to their beliefs and not allowing the open mindedness that is required to open channels for the flow of new knowledge.

Peter Abelard, a Dialectician, philosopher, and theologian, born 1079; was born in the little village of Pallet, about ten miles east of Nantes in Brittany He said :

“The beginning of wisdom is found in doubting; by doubting we come to the question, and by seeking we may come upon the truth”.

The genius of Sir Isaac Newton:

Born: 4 Jan 1643 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England
Died: 31 March 1727 in London, England
Newton was a mathematician and physicist, one of the foremost scientific intellects of all time.

Newton's aim at Cambridge was a law degree. Instruction at Cambridge was dominated by the philosophy of Aristotle Newton studied the philosophy of Descartes, Gassendi, Hobbes, and in particular Boyle. The mechanics of the Copernican astronomy of Galileo attracted him and he also studied Kepler's Optics. He recorded his thoughts in a book which he entitled Quaestiones Quondam Philosophicae (Certain Philosophical Questions).. He headed the text with a Latin statement
" patella est meus amicus , Optimus est meus amicus , tamen meus optimus amicus est verum " meaning --  "Plato is my friend, Aristotle is my friend, but my best friend is truth," showing himself a free thinker from an early stage.

According to a well-known story, it was on seeing an apple fall in his orchard at some time during 1665 or 1666 He calculated the force needed to hold the Moon in its orbit, as compared with the force pulling an apple to the ground. Newton conceived that the same gravity force governed the motion of the Moon and the apple.

I told you Newton’s life story only for you to know this
(The genius of Newton is that he is the first to show that the laws that governs us (people) here on earth are the same laws that governs the moons and planets. In other word the (laws that governs heaven and earth are one) -- it was the first non mystical, non religious explanation of the motion in the heavens, it made the planet Earth one tree in the cosmic forest.

“I know not what I appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell, whilest the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.”

Albert Einstein's General Theory of Relativity “
Our new and accepted Einsteinian Universe, that is forged fundamentally of three dimensional space that is integrated with the dimension of time, to give us the fabric of the space- time continuum, along the arrow of time, which is continuous absolute and enduring, that warps and bends when it encounters a mass, it becomes more evident when the mass is large enough such as a planet or a sun, because of the bent of space gravity comes to be a somewhat different explanation than that of the Newtonian gravity which is explained as a force of attraction between any two masses in the universe.

The theory of relativity had established a relationship between matter, space, time and gravity, governs modern cosmology’s view of the universe. “But when Einstein began to apply his theory to the structure of the universe, he was dismayed to find that it predicted either an expanding or contracting universe--something entirely incompatible with the prevailing notion of a static universe.

In the 1920's the famous American astronomer Edwin Hubble made a startling discovery that is all objects in the universe have what appears to be red shifted.

What does the red shift mean? We know sound as well as light is made up with waves each, wave has a length, thus wavelength. In sound, different wavelengths give different pitch in sound ,short wavelength give a soprano (tweet) tone or pitch, a long wavelength gives it a baritone or a (Woofer) pitch; so if there is an object coming towards you, it would have a different pitch if it was hurtling away from you, such as an ambulance siren, when the ambulance coming towards you it will have a higher pitch and when it reaches you and started going away from you it will have a lower pitch; this change of pitch is referred to as "Doppler effect".

Similarly, light has waves and wavelength as well, different wavelength's will give you a different colors of the spectrum, for short wavelength the color of the object tend to be towards the color blue, and for along wavelength the color of the object tend to be towards the color red. Now if there is an object with a full color spectrum [white-] moves towards you, it tend to look bluish from your stand point of view, since by moving towards you it will compress the wavelength, hence blue shift, similarly if this white object is moving away from you, that stretches the wavelength, and the white color would look reddish from your stand point of view, thus red shift.
Now when Hubbell show that all the stars around us has red shift, the conclusion was that all stars are running away from us consequently our universe would seems to be expanding, which confirms Einstein theory of relativity.
