Themes: Democracy | Elections | Voting Rights
The 2004 presidential election was but the latest example of a stolen election, the result of voter intimidation, ballot tampering, electronic vote counting fraud, partisan election administration, and other dirty tricks and devices aimed at thwarting the popular will. This workshop will present examples from Illinois and Wisconsin to illustrate the crisis that confonts us, and suggest ways to break this barrier to modern democracy and social justice.
