The President of the United States and the Republican congress need to be held accountable for making a decision 5 years ago that is now killing innocent Americans. This was an act the likes of which Mr. Bush recently equated to the evil acts of terrorists in a speech from the White House marking the fifth anniversary of the horrors of 9/11....and he and the Republican Congress have not been held accountable.
The Act: Mr. Bush re-wrote the EPA Hazards press release developed at Ground Zero following 9/11.
The Speech: Mr. Bush said, "It's unacceptable to think that there's any kind of comparison between the behavior of the United States of America and the action of Islamic extremists who kill innocent women and children to achieve an objective."
Now his actions - to achieve Republican objectives - are killing innocent Americans. And he and the Republican congress must be held accountable for this criminal act.
Was Ground Zero a toxic waste dump?
Within two years or 9/11, all of the search dogs used at the site had died from cancer.
The Bush administration said...."Whoa there......just a darn minute...!"
....and the "litter box" cover-up began.
Recently Condoleezza Rice, U. S. Secretary of State, made the following comment to reporters asking questions about having received information regarding specific terrorist threats immediately prior to 9/11. She said that it was "incomprehensible" that she ignored terrorist threats two months before the September 11 attacks.
Is it not "incomprehensible" that the Bush administration, along with Condoleezza Rice, would kill innocent people, including innocent men, women, and children to "achieve their objective"?
