Thoughtcrime: USA

The federal government seems unable to do anything but lie. Now, that's plenty disturbing, but perhaps most disturbing of all is that hordes of Americans still, somehow, actually believe the lies. Compiling a list of official lies would be a savage challenge, tantamount to writing a synopsis of everything important that has happened, and is happening. On the other hand...easy as pie, compiling a list of actual federal truthfulness; unfortunately, there not only would be little if any pie, but hardly any crumbs. In fact, there might not even be any crumbs.

To the feds truth is a hollow and quaint concept as irrelevant as that of commonwealth, the common good. Truth has been arrested, tortured, prosecuted, buried alive and forgotten. But one thing about truth, evidence has a habit of pointing right at it. Sure makes it easy to understand why evidence at the 9/11 crime scene was so frantically mangled and destroyed as quickly as possible. Genuine evidence is the last thing the feds want anyone thinking about; much better for the hordes to have their minds filled with the idea of "19 Arab boys with box cutters".

So where did that information come from, what evidence exists for these terrorizing Arab boys (many of whom are alive and well after their "suicide" mission)? Seems the wife of some federal bureaucrat called her husband on her cell phone from one of the planes that struck the World Trade Center, and painted the popular horrifying picture of being at the mercy of Arab boys with box cutters. Devotees of truth pointed out that it was not possible to have made a cell phone connection from the flight...so the story was fudged into the wife using a seat-back phone. Problem is, none of the aircraft involved in 9/11 even had seat-back phones. So...never mind, or, move along, nothing to see here. The phone-call-from-a-doomed-passenger story has been buried, but the fantasy--the horror of Arab boys wielding box cutters grew wings, and still haunts millions of American minds. Rack up another one for perception management.

The great void left behind by absolute abandonment of truth has been stuffed full of perception management, where what really happens is fudged into what power wants the hordes to believe happens, along with what they want the hordes to feel about...it. As long as enough of us "small people" believe that truth is in any way a consideration when it comes to formulating the news, we all keep walking the plank.

The next logical, legal step, is already showing on the horizon: the criminalizing of questioning "official truth". Thoughtcrime...it already exists, effectively, as the "turd in the punch bowl" syndrome. Americans have been so meticulously trained to ignore evidence in favor of what they want to believe, in conjunction with what they are wanted to believe, that too many have been rendered unable to objectively weigh evidence. The majority of genuine evidence points to our government being a hideous monster utterly controlled by a tiny reptilian elite. Psychopaths with zero conscience, zero empathy, and an insatiable will to power--that's who government is of, by and for, they own the government, the media...they own pretty much everything. Politicians are simple trophies, so forget their sugar talk about freedom and democracy, liberty and justice for all, your vote counts; we are embedded in pathocracy, fascism on steroids. Imagine what horror the elite feel at the thought of the hordes NOT being perception managed. If by some miracle the hordes ever shake off the yoke of perception management, they will tear the elite to pieces. Or, put another way by George Bush 1 in an interview with Sarah McClendon: "If the American people knew what we have done, they would string us up from the lamp posts." They are so vastly outnumbered, millions to one, and keeping those millions unaware of as many important truths as possible is Job Number One. The American hordes are Orwell's "proles".

Orwell was right on, as usual, with his portrayal of the future of the human mind. In his novel, 1984, the foundation of "Big Brother" (elite power), is four ministries: the Ministry of Love; the Ministry of Truth; the Ministry of Peace; the Ministry of Plenty. In their language, Newspeak: Miniluv, Minitrue, Minipax, Miniplenty. Well, the Ministry of Love has to do with torture; the Ministry of Truth has to do with lies; the Ministry of Peace has to do with war; the Ministry of Plenty has to do with starvation. Most briefly: Love = torture, Truth = lies, Peace = war, Plenty = starvation. Please consider this in regards to the War on Terror, the War on Drugs, freedom and democracy, one nation under God, liberty and justice for all, they hate us for our freedoms...and most especially the term which is getting more terrifying to its victims every day: humanitarian. The list goes on and on....

Back to our present and powerful turd in the punchbowl syndrome, forerunner of official and declared and enforced "thoughtcime", try speaking about evidence and truth amid a group of average Americans. Try approaching a group at a party, let's say, a group that is talking about multifarious aspects of We Got bin Laden! and mention that everyone with any actual understanding of the whole bin Laden circus, the global intelligence network, politicians and diplomats and generals and secretaries and heads of state and--even Fox News reported way back when that Osama bin Laden died in December of 2001! Mention most any important truth, actually, and you will likely see a bewildering demonstration of the sheer power of perception management over truth and evidence. And that hot breath on the back of your neck?--that's the wraith of official and legal criminality sidling ever closer, grim reaper of crimethink.
