Some scientists think we may be hardwired in our brains to accept the logic of the Republican or Democrat Party. Perhaps they know what they are talking about.

Watching the Barrack, Hillary political union unfold, you would have to give the above theory some credence. When I read about hard wiring, I came to the conclusion I couldn't help but be a moderate liberal.

Mentally, it is acceptable to me to share my bounty with others.

I was raised to share. Sent off with my parents on my bicycle to deliver excess bounty off our little farm to neighbors who "could use this", as my father would say. It was a normal turn of events in my household of five kids, parents, and a grandmother to share. If a family that large can share, then it must be hardwired.

I have several friends who are Republican and over the years I have watched closely, even though I respected these friends in many ways, I wondered at many of the decisions they made in their lives. I watched one female friend turn down kids that wanted apples from an untended tree on her property and watched as the apples were left to rot on the ground and  could not understand how she saw the world at that time. Her comment to me was, "I don't want to have to bother with it". What a shame. So many hopes of so many Americans have been left to rot on the ground by the Bush Administration. I wonder if it is for the same reason?

Hillary and Barrack are hardwired Democrats. It seems just as normal for me to see them pared as it would be for me to see someone I might select to make a journey with through politics. If I were Republican, I would want all under me to be hard wired "yes" men/women. I wouldn't want to  be bothered with any discourse to my way of doing things. Looking back on Republican administrations through time, most of the administrations were "yes" men/women.

Bush is one example of this hard wired phenomena. Bush didn't want to make decisions which benefited the masses, he has just been interested in his own agenda. Bush has politically slaughtered the hopes of millions, world wide, in order to satisfy a very narrow segment of society, his "yes" supporters.

Now you take Obama and Clinton, they are following a pattern that may mean they and I are hardwired in the very same way. I cannot stand "yes" men/women. I have the greatest respect for anyone who has a fresh  bright idea that will let me reach my objective, no matter how it disagrees with my thinking at the moment. I find it stimulating to be around aggressive people, throwing ideas back and forth, coming to conclusions that will serve this country, not run it into the ground because I have some personal hardwired handicaps like "W" has.

I have reported many a courtroom trial and closely watch body language of those I observed. It is a skill one develops. From the very beginning, each time I would see Clinton and Obama together I could see the respect they had for each other even while ripping each other apart in the election process. I heard the words of anger, but did not see the  body language.

At times, throughout the debates, when both candidates were bantering with each other when the debate was ended, I saw body language that showed they had tremendous respect for each other and actually enjoyed each other's intelligence and aggressiveness.

I think I share another trait with Barrack and Hillary. I believe in the old saying, "lie down like a rug and get walked on". People who don't demand respect from me, I pretty well walk on to get to someone who I find challenging. "Yes" men/ women lay down and they get walked on to feed ego. I don't need my ego fed, nor do Obama or Clinton.

These two young, intelligent Americans, Obama and Hillary, serving the United States of America will share their abilities to make peace with the world and the world's people and when their administration is over, the ugly American is not going to be so ugly anymore.
