This morning, on Good Morning Joe, gazillionaire Donny Deutsch repeatedly called for what amounts to throwing out the first amendment, saying that we in the US, Obama in particular, are weak, for not sending US marshalls or in some way shutting up the pastor who threatened to burn Korans. Deutsch says, "...Find some way to shut him down. That's what government does. Ahhh... a reason to value government-- taking away rights. Humping Deutsch from behind, Pat Buchanan joins the First Amendment gang bang.
Here's part 1 of two videos showing part of the conversation
This is split into two videos because John Meacham basically gave this incredibly long, preachy sermon on pastor Jones non-Christian ways. It was shot with a hand-held iPhone. (Sorry for the wobble)
Here's part two showing a bit more of Donny D F-ing the First.

Deutsch, with pinched face and his hand stroking back and forth in the air, says, of Pastor Jones, "That's what makes us look weak as a country, that our leaders have to get on a knee in from of this guy. What kind of signals does that send to the world..."

I don't know? That we have free speech rights? That all men, even people who are pathetic attention whores have rights?

Willy Geist replies, "do you send in US Marshalls or protect his first amendment rights and let him burn the Koran.

John Meacham calls on his congregation to get him to stand down (like his congregation that threw him out did.)

Deutsch continues, "Find some legal reason, taxes or something, just get in there, take him away and cuff him ..." Then Deutsch asks for Pat Buchanan's help.

Pat Buchanan, tangentially, using a bad analogy, cites Harry Truman's seizing of steel mills to prevent a union shut-down. "The United states is going to sit here paralyzed and fretting... Take action... The American people will applaud, the Republicans will applaud and the world will say the president of the United states is a leader at last."

Deutsch, apparently having an empathy orgasm, replies, "Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yes, on every level. We've become a nation of wusses."

Dan Senor asks Deutsch if he's saying that each time there's a debate over whether an action in the US endangers the troops the president should send in the federal marshalls.

Dan Senor seems to be holding back from laughing or puking on Donny Deutsch, as Deutsc by rob kall, photo from MSNBC morning joe
Dan Senor seems to be holding back from laughing or puking on Donny Deutsch, as Deutsch, flogging his anti first amendment, fascist ideas, seems to be subconsciously representing what he perceives to be the girth of his penis when he advocates taking away constitutional rights.

Pat Buchanan cites more cases of past presidents violating constitutional rights.

Willy Geist asks Buchanan if we would have been better off if the photographs from Abu Ghraib had not been released. Buchanan answers "yes... If I were Secretary Gates or Rumsfeld at the time, I would have done my best to see that they were quashed..."

John Meacham asks, Who decides who's the lunatic?

It's hard to see a way around it. Deutsch is a fascist , one of those knee jerk reaction men who would cavalierly trash the constitution, take away the rights millions of American soldiers fought and died for.

Buchanan is a smart guy. But American history is full of smart guys who have no morals, who make horrible decisions. Buchanan is doing it here.

Later in the show, Deutsch starts yelling at Dan Senor. Mika points out Deutsch is screaming and Deutsch replies, "Sometimes screaming is okay."

The thing is, Deutsch's sentiments, will indeed resonate with many-- many Republicans-- as Buchanan predicts. Deutsch, unlike Buchanan, is not smart, does not know history. He's an archetypal american redneck, even if he is from New York.

The 911 attack has been used to erect a horrific array of laws and policies that have wiped out, proscribed or weakened our constitutional rights and freedoms. People like Deutsch and Buchanan pretend to be loyal Americans, but what are they loyal to? Surely not the millions of soldiers who fought for the freedoms these testosterone panderers are so willing to throw away.
