A SIMPLE SOLUTION to get over 3 Million jobs back in the Country. I believe it really can work!
I paid my AT&T Universal Card this evening by phone. It is administered by CITI Bank. Besides paying a high interest rate, I had to pay a $14.95 fee.
I was hardly able to understand the attendant, but picked up the Hispanic accent and finally asked her where I was calling.
She indicated she was in Guatemala. I am sure that "she" was only getting $1.50 per hour. My blood started to boil.
Wasn't CITI one of the banks we saved? Now they are turning their back on the US worker who saved them. What the heck is going on here anyway
Are we that stupid?
Well here I am unemployed, struggling to keep my head above water and sinking fast; realizing that someone in Guatemala has a job and I don't.
I looked up some statistics and summarized that since 2001, the USA has outsourced at least OVER Three Million (3,000,000) jobs. That includes manufacturing and professional service/information jobs.
Wait, think about it - that's about 7 months worth of jobs losses in this Country.
My solution - GET THOSE JOBS BACK HERE! Use whatever money is left in the budget to subsidize or use in the form of tax credits to get those jobs back here.
