Ellsberg is worried Congress has not put forth an effort to demand they be informed before an attack on Iran should occur. There is a Senate resolution to demand Congress be consulted in the event of plans to attack Iran, but it has not gotten out of committee. The Senate virtually endorsed Bush's power to begin a war with Iran with legislation last Sept declaring Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist organization. |
