 Purvi Patel suffered a stillbirth--and now she's received a 20-year prison sentence under Indiana's radical anti-woman feticide law. In July 2013, Patel experienced a sudden loss of pregnancy in her home in Granger, Indiana. By Patel's account, the 23-week-old fetus was dead when it came out of her body -- a stillbirth. But on Monday, Patel was sentenced to 20 years in prison on contradictory charges.
