Indonesian official says missing AirAsia jet is believed to be at the bottom of the sea - The Washington Post

As the search for a missing AirAsia plane resumed Monday morning, Indonesian authorities said they believe the commercial jet with 162 people on board already lies at the bottom of the sea. "Based on the coordinates given to us and evaluation that the estimated crash position is in the sea, the hypothesis is the plane is at the bottom of the sea," Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency chief Bambang Soelistyo said at a press conference.
