| On Jan. 28, President Barack Obama presented his annual State of the Union address. What were some of his main points and how were his proposals received by the Democratic and Republican parties and by the leadership of the AFL-CIO? In his speech, Obama stated that "new trade partnerships with Europe and the Asia-Pacific will help the United States create more jobs.
