Former Louisiana Bible Belt Preacher Jerry DeWitt had been ministering for the past 25 years. All he had ever wanted was to be a comfort and a support to the people he grew up with. On late night in May of 2011, DeWitt received a frantic phone call from one of his parishioners whose brother had been in a terrible motorcycle accident. Natosha Davis was seeking a shoulder to lean on and soulfull prayer for her injured sibling.

DeWitt had received these calls many times before, but something in him had changed and he was only able to provide the woman comfort and no prayer. He found that after he put down the phone, an uncontrollable sobbing poured from his soul and a divide between him and the Lord tookover. Preacher DeWitt began to seek out athiest type groups on the Internet. He found himself joining other former religious clerics who no longer believed in God either"
