Ari Berman reports in Mother Jones that Trump has come up with a viable alternative to adding the citizenship question to Census forms. Instead, he will issue an executive order requiring that the number of voting-eligible citizens be collected by administrative officials in the Census Bureau, a basis for redrawing electoral districts. That leaves 2021 up for grabs to the white Republicans who will surely benefit from this form of discrimination. The exact figures are in the article, but groups sure to suffer from the change include, no surprise, Hispanics, Asians, and African Americans.
