For years I've maintained silent frustration with the scientist David Suzuki because, although we share very much the same views, from his position of prominence he chose to speak his mind with so much understatement and quiet courtesy that I feared it was bound to be lost.
Now 81 years of age, Suzuki has found his voice, and it is no longer subdued.
