Post from 2021 (image below demonstrates the absurdist impulses of Ed Armstrong, the fmr President of GOAL, who designed the 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental organization):
This past Wednesday (August 4, 2021), I got inducted by Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown (GOAL). Neatness is our goal.
Actually, I've been cleaning up the neighborhood with these guys for about five years now. I am honored to become a formal board member of such a valuable organization, serving Lower Bucks County with refuse removal, educating the public, and working with other local organizations and municipalities to the benefit of the community and the environment.
One of Ed Armstrong's (President, GOAL) long term ambitions is to measure water levels in various locations of Black Ditch Creek (AKA Mill Creek) in order to ascertain the causes of flooding, which may lead to mitigation. The creek passes through Hollyhill, Crabtree, Oaktree, and Dogwood sections of Levittown before it enters Magnolia Lake.
Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to meet Dale Frazier, the founder of GOAL, before his passing. I am blessed to have met his wife, Kathy, and all of my friends in GOAL and the Bristol Township Environmental Advisory Council, a group that is chimerical enough to fully appreciate this bohunk of a man.
