Series Listed By Popularity List Alphabetically
Tracts for Our Times (9 articles)
Originally penned to discuss the deeply vexing question of how progressives can leverage against Joe Biden after voting for him--Trump MUST be stopped--this series has richly fertilized my political thinking and simply exploded its initial frame. So I thought I'd reach back in history for a series title suggesting both its timeliness and grandiose scope. Just as the famed 19th century 'Tracts for the Times' were the religious credo of the Oxford Movement, these ambitious secular tracts hope to become the political credo of a history-making 'Justified Outrage' movement.
The REAL Trump Resistance: An Anti-Duopoly Occupy (2 articles)
This hard-hitting series argues that the REAL resistance to the Trump regime must take the form of a new, anti-duopoly Occupy movement that proclaims the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of BOTH major parties. By doing so, this 'Occupy 2.0' could open a unique opportunity--to create VIABLE third parties.
Bernie's Donkeys: Rebranding Democrats as Sanders' Party (3 articles)
In This Changes Everything, Naomi Klein forcefully argues that our nation suffers a cancer of catastrophic bad timing. Namely, when true progressives (climate, peace, civil rights, and economic equality activists) need to be setting policy, our voices are almost totally marginalized in politics and media. By sheer force of obsessing over it, I believe I've found the absolute best solution to this vexing problem: one based on a precise diagnosis and thoroughly rooted in that diagnosis. As my series title indicates, I believe progressives' best path to power lies in rebranding Democrats as Bernie Sanders' party--a rebranding Democrats (for reasons I'll explain) will vigorously resist. So, my comprehensive strategy includes a 'nuclear weapon'--blackmail based on voting Green in general elections--to force Dems, starting with the most progressive, to accept their rebranding as 'Bernie's donkeys.'
Successful Marketing for Political Revolutionaries (2 articles)
It's delightful that a resistance movement of principled progressives has formed under Trump. But will that resistance be doomed its ignorance of--or downright hostility to--political marketing?
Fighting the McResistance--for Climate's Sake (2 articles)
This two-part series makes a compelling case that a grassroots anti-duopoly resistance movement must overthrow the Democratic Party's shallow, astroturf 'McResistance' to Trump--or the alternative is climate Armageddon.
Climate's Deadliest HIDDEN Enemy: The Clinton Political Machine (2 articles)
The
series covers perhaps the most important news story of our day--one completely taboo in mainstream media. It explains how Hillary Clinton's political machine, if unchecked by
climate-activist revolt, will undemocratically crush Bernie Sanders'
presidential chances and will foist on us a candidate, Hillary Clinton,
provably inadequate by policies and character, to address our planet's climate
emergency. Part 1 is titled 'Sanders Correctly Rattles Sabers--at the Climate
Change Enemy'; Part 2, 'Clinton's Updated Tammany Hall: Destroying Democracy
AND Climate Too'; and Part 3, 'Wake Up Zombie, Kick Up a Big Stink.' The first
two parts establish the case for revolt against the Clinton machine urgently pleaded for in Part 3--the call-to-arms finale of the series.
The Indispensable Movement Can Revolutionize Political Discourse (1 articles)
This series relates how the Indispensable Movement, via its memes and rhetoric, can revolutionize political discourse. Attacking our political duopoly's illegitimacy, WE hope to set the framing for voters' decisions in the 2018 and 2020 elections.
Neither Idiots Nor Useful: Our Politically Underachieving Liberal Churches (1 articles)
With civilization itself at stake, this two-part series makes a compelling case that political Left and liberal churches desperately need each other. Specifically, the 'prophetic witness' of liberal churches could put a unique moral energy and organizing platform behind the Left's urgent political agenda. Importantly, this series offers a framework for sympathetic, constructive Leftist critique of the Poor People's Campaign.
Can't Hillary Haters All Just Get Along? (1 articles)
This two-part series (really Parts 1 and 2 of a single long essay) describes a crucial effort a wide range of leftists must seize the undertake: to seize the consciousness-raising occasion of Bernie Sanders' candidacy and unite in fierce rebellion against Hillary Clinton--candidate of the 'toxic Establishment.'
