The Plundering Nation's Last Stand SHARE

The American oligarchy has turned on America and is now devouring the "rest of us". Americans must face the future that the oligarchy has brought us. If Finland joins NATO it breaks its WWII treaty with Russia, and will no longer be neutral SHARE
Scott Ritter does an excellent video on what could possibly happen if Finland joins NATO. He discusses the "Winter War" of 1939 and Finland's subsequent entry into WWII on the side of Nazi Germany which Finland lost decisively losing 9% of its territory. The Finns entered into a treaty with the USSR where they would remain "neutral" in perpetuity. If Finland joins NATO it will violate this treaty and therefore no longer be neutral. NATO will deploy the F-35 to Finland, an aircraft capable of delivering nuclear bombs. Russia will not tolerate such a threat and will destroy Finland.
Ritter goes on to analyze the military forces available to NATO and declares, NATO has no chance unless it uses Nukes.
As Jim Kavanagh says in his "Ukraine Negotiation Kabuki", which nation is going to accept defeat?
It will not be Russia.

I led talks on Donbas and Crimea in the 90s. Here's how the war should end. SHARE
Professor John Quigley presents some options for ending the Ukraine/Russia war. These options do not seem very realistic in light of the events that are happening there. Moon of Alabama provides a summary of events for 9 May that seem to show Ukraine's resistance is collapsing.
Still, it should be helpful to everyone to read about Quigley's efforts from decades ago when it was "obvious to everyone" that Ukraine was going to devolve into this crisis, because the USA wanted it to happen.

This 2007 speech to the Munich Security Conference outlined precisely what Russia's position on continued NATO expansion would be. Since that speech, the USA has taken an ever more aggressive stance toward Russia. So aggressive that the US has withdrawn from arms control treaties that Russia continued to abide by until it became clear that there would be no return to an American position that would recognize Russia's concerns.

Russians Have No Opinions SHARE
In the '70s, it was the "force" that was strong.
Now it is the ennui. No one really cares.
While researchers want to find out the state of public opinion, the main problem is that it simply does not exist. And worse, in the absence of any opinion at all, the survey assumes the existence of an informed citizen who knows of the most important political events, and is able and, most importantly, willing to form its own assessment of what is happening.
The overwhelming majority of people refuse to answer sociologists simply because they have no opinion about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, or indeed about any significant socio-political issue. Russia has developed an apolitical and atomized society that reacts only to events that directly affect individuals’ personal, family, or professional lives.

In Praise of Partition (of Ukraine) SHARE
David Stockman does an outstanding job of summarizing the history of Ukraine and the events that led up to the Russian "Special Operation". The corruption of the Ukraine government and the US role in feeding (and installing) that corruption is laid bare. It becomes hilarious (except for the fact that it is so tragic) that Trump was impeached for his actions in Ukraine while Biden gets a free pass. They were doing the same thing.
