'Word salad of nonsense': scientists denounce Jordan Peterson's comments on climate models SHARE
Jordan Peterson
is Canada’s Polymath William F. Buckley. He is intellectually precocious, with
tremendous powers of vocabulary and recall of years of digesting facts and
probably everything he’s ever read, and an intellectual vanity that has a hard
time containing his disdain for folks that challenge or don’t agree with him. He
prides himself on knowing everything about everything. We see this on full
display with Buckley in a segment he did with Noam Chomsky years ago. He
refuses to allow Chomsky a moment, a win on a detail.
Peterson has
been called a generalist. I think that is too benign a description. Yet, I’m
sure he is a nice fellow. However, one should not use their intellectual precocity
to assist in the possible destruction of the planet.
You simply
have to turn on the television to discover what Buckley left us.

I sure Hope Beto Knows What He Is Doing SHARE
Trump's approval ratings with Republicans right now rival Reagan's. Beto just did a wonderful thing today, however it won't get him elected unless he goes after Trump and Conservatism along with Cruz. Do Democrats realize that their protestations and actions against what is going on the border are also reinforcing the Right's message -- they don't like "Mexicans." It doesn't matter whether they are children or not.Watch Beto dance around this issue, actually shocking and very, very unwise in my opinion -- he repeats, "This is on all of us, not just the Trump administration." How in the hell is "this on all of us?" He talks about his legislation -- what? He is working in a Republican controlled Congress. I hope he is right in his approach. I hope he doesn't think he still lives in America. I sure hope he is not wasting our time.
