Friday, April 11, 2025 Pepe Escobar: From Sana'a to Saada -- Yemen during wartimeSHARE
Pepe Escobar, the Eurasia-wide geopolitical analyst, was among a small group of people from East and West who partook of a conference on Palestine in Yemen's capital Sana'a called "You Are Not Alone". A conference organizer observed that these were the first foreigners to enter Yemen in years. The history of Yemen is ancient and largely dismissed by Westerners whose first strike on the country by the Obama-Biden administration and Saudi Arabia occurred a decade ago and is currently escalating with Trump's contributions to its destruction.
Wednesday, August 7, 2024 The People's Court of New Normal GermanySHARE
The satirist C.J. Hopkins, who moved from the US to Germany a couple of decades ago, is on trial:
Just when I thought things could not possibly get more shockingly totalitarian in New Normal Germany, where I’m being prosecuted in criminal court (for the second time) for tweeting, the German authorities have gone and surprised me again. No, they haven’t established an actual Nazi-style People’s Court (pictured above) yet, and, of course, there is absolutely no similarity between the current German justice system, which is totally fair and democratic and a paragon of impartial justice and the rule of law, and The People’s Court of Berlin during the Nazi era...
Friday, April 12, 2024 COVID Pandemic Made the Rich Even Richer -- Wait Till You See What the WHO Is Planning NextSHARE
"It amounts to perhaps the most infallible wealth concentration scheme in history. The general model proved itself during COVID-19, orchestrating the largest wealth transfer on a global scale, from poor to rich, the world has seen.
"Rather than fiddling around with sanitation, nutrition and the endemic infections that kill people, international public health is now concentrated on hypothetical but far more profitable stuff like Disease X (the next pandemic), amply guided by the corporatists it will benefit."
Monday, November 6, 2023 Israel's Solution to Gaza: War on IranSHARE
The four reasons that Jim Kavanagh predicts an Israel-instigated but US-embraced war on Iran:
1. A
military attack on Iran has been an Israeli demand for at least fifteen years,
in active preparation by the U.S. and Israel for at least six years, and was
already ordered by the president.
2. Congress wants it.
3. The U.S. is accumulating military forces in
the Eastern Mediterranean for a conflict of much larger scale than a fight with
Hamas or Hezbollah.
and 4. Israel not only
wants but needs it.

"According to Biometric Update, Maisha Namba is “expected to address different challenges such as identifying and authenticating citizens, safeguarding primary registration documents such as birth certificates and national identity cards and improving the management of social programmes and government operations.”
"The identification number attached to Maisha Namba “will also be used to register for government services, including education, health insurance, tax and social security.”
"But some experts said they believe the Maisha Namba program has other, unannounced, aims."
Friday, October 13, 2023 Donald Rumsfeld's Ghost About My Known KnownsSHARE
Recalling Donald Rumsfeld's famous statement, Edward Curtin reprises clandestine acts that have served to change the very structure and function of not only the US but the world as well. These events took place, Curtin says, "in the interests of further establishing a biosecurity state". These inoculations are having their effects.
“'Ancestral voices prophesying war; ancestral spirits in
the danse macabre or war dance; Valhalla, ghostly warriors who
kill each other and are reborn to fight again. All warfare is ghostly,
every army an exercitus feralis (army of ghosts), every
soldier a living corpse.' —Norman O. Brown"

Edward J. Curtin:
Years ago I started my academic life by writing a thesis entitled “Dealing With Death or Death Dealing.” It was a study of the transformation of cultural symbol systems, death, and nuclear weapons. The last hundred years and more have brought a transformation and disintegration of the traditional religious symbol system – the sacred canopy – that once gave people comfort, meaning, and hope. Science, technology, and nuclear weapons have changed all that. Death has been socially relocated and we live under the nuclear umbrella, a sinister “safeguard” that is cold comfort. The ultimate power of death over all life has been transferred from God to men, those controlling the nuclear weapons. This subject has never left me. I suppose it has haunted me. It is not a jolly subject, but I think it has chosen me.
(14 comments) Wednesday, March 1, 2023 So many people recently 'died suddenly' - What's going on?SHARE
One needn't be a dedicated follower of sports to have noticed of late the number of young professional athletes, ostensibly at the apex of physical fitness, dying suddenly in practice or in play. In the 38 years between 1966 and 2004, sudden cardiac death (SCD) occurred in 1101 athletes under the age of 35. Of those athletes, fifty percent had congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathies and ten percent had early-onset atherosclerotic heart disease. The monthly average SCD toll for those years is 2.35.
The number of comparably aged athletes who died suddenly in three months from January to April 2022 is 1,696% above the pre-2020 average.

Corporations must work constantly to keep themselves up with competition, to refine their business model, to remain on the cusp of new developments--sometimes even ahead of them. In big business, there is precious little time to rest upon one's laurels. Snoozers lose.
This article contains a transcript of an interview conducted by an undercover journalist who recorded his dialogue with a Director of R&D for Pfizer--although one suspects that the Director, Jordon Trishton Walker, may soon be in search of new employment horizons.
Thursday, January 19, 2023 The FAA Has Very Quietly Tacitly Admitted that the EKGs of Pilots Are no Longer NormalSHARE
After the age of 40, commercial and military pilots undergo EKG testing annually. EKGs record the electrical signals in the heart to detect problems and monitor cardiac health. One of the measures, the PR interval, measures the conduction of electricity from upper to lower chambers.
Last fall, the Federal Aviation Administration changed the acceptable PR interval for pilots:
"On October 24, 2022, the FAA quietly, without any announcement at all, widened the EKG requirements necessary for pilots to be able to fly.
"The PR (a measure of heart function) used to be in the range of .12 to .2.
"It is now: .12 to .3...
"This is a very wide range; it accommodates people who have cardiac injury."
(2 comments) Friday, October 7, 2022 The Trajectory of U.S. Foreign PolicySHARE
"The West
is ready to cross every line to preserve the neo-colonial system
that allows it to live off the world, to plunder it thanks
to the domination of the dollar and technology,
to collect an actual tribute from humanity, to extract its
primary source of unearned prosperity, the rent paid
to the hegemon. The preservation of this annuity is their
main, real and absolutely self-serving motivation. This is why total
de-sovereignisation is in their interest. This explains their aggression
towards independent states, traditional values and authentic cultures,
their attempts to undermine international and integration processes,
new global currencies and technological development centres they cannot
control. It is critically important for them to force all countries
to surrender their sovereignty to the United States."--Vladimir Putin

"When
confronting... globally coordinated and harmonized efforts to manipulate
memory, thought and perceptions of individuals while actively deleting events
and suppressing inconvenient data, it is overwhelming to imagine how
written words can be used to help others make sense of their own experiences
and their own tragedies. How can... a daily stream
of essays... help to heal the damage done to all of
us? This is the question that lies at the heart of all of the work that Jill and I have undertaken since the beginning of this
outbreak... What can the two of us do to help
lift people’s burden and stop this from happening again?"
Robert Malone wrote this
early in his quest to comprehend and address the wide-ranging—you might say
world-shaking—effects of the pandemic. And he has been thoroughly reviled for his efforts; cognitive dissonance disturbs.
Sunday, July 10, 2022 The Assassination and Mrs. PaineSHARE
Having earlier this year watched Oliver Stone's documentary on Kennedy's
killing in addition to one or two others I
thought I was relatively up-to-date. In Stone's documentary we were introduced to Ruth Paine, who for a few weeks provided Marina Oswald a place to live. And from Ed Curtin's review of Max Good's 'The Assassination and Mrs. Paine' I see now there's yet more to
consider:
The Paines, who have claimed they are pacifists, might best be superficially described as unassuming, liberal Quaker/Unitarian do-gooders, whose wealth and astounding family and intelligence connections would make heads spin, if they were known. The film exposes many of those connections.
The JFK assassination indeed seems to have been the first of three-and-counting coups against the country that still calls itself a democracy.
Sunday, May 8, 2022 Homeland Security's "Disinformation Board" is Even More Pernicious Than it SeemsSHARE
"This
scam [regarding the so-called 'anti-disinformation expert'] is the critical context for
understanding why the Biden Administration casually announced
last week the creation of what it is calling a 'Disinformation
Board' inside the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). There is no
conceivable circumstance in which a domestic law enforcement agency like DHS
should be claiming the power to decree truth and falsity....
"Knowing that Americans are inculcated from childhood to
believe that censorship is nefarious — that it is the hallmark of tyranny —
those who wish to censor need to find some ennobling rationale to justify it
and disguise what it is."
Friday, May 6, 2022 Fiction Disguised as Science to Promote HatredSHARE
Here's a CTV News headline to warm the cockles of certain hearts:
“Being with unvaccinated people increases COVID-19 risk for those who are vaccinated: modelling study”This revelation is derived from a peer-reviewed article by Dr. David Fisman, Dr. Ashleigh Tuite, and a graduate student, published April 25 of this year in the journal of the Canadian Medical Association.
That CMAJ article is reviewed by an associate professor of viral immunology at the University of Guelph, Dr. Bryam Bridle. Bridle objects to the polarization promoted by Fisman's publication, but his objections go deeper than that. They get to the gist--and some of the specifics--of agenda-driven pseudoscience.
Interesting reading showing ways by which the unwary can be ever-so-gently misled.

Do mRNA vaccines diminish the severity of COVID in the
jabbed compared to those who don’t partake?
Sounds easy to determine, does it
not? Yet, regardless of your opinion,
undoubtedly you’re seen data-supported articles about this that derive polar-opposite
conclusions. It’s almost as though there
are two discrete sources of data.
This analysis by the Exposé reveals one method by which subtle
statistical maneuvers can achieve unfounded effects.
(2 comments) Thursday, April 21, 2022 The Vaccine Injury Compensation System for COVID has FailedSHARE
The US set up an agency called The Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program--the CICP--for the purpose of compensating people for injuries arising from vaccination and other work-arounds during a pandemic. Early in 2020 when a public health emergency was declared in response to SARS-CoV-2, an emergency preparedness act from 2005 went live. This meant that vaccine-related injuries or deaths could be filed with the CICP rather than through the national vaccine program, where since 1988 compensation has been awarded for only around one-third of claims.
Sounds like our legislators really have our backs.
Why then did the British Medical Journal and Robert Malone attempt to rain on this parade?

Thursday, February 10, 2022 Let's Back Up A Sec And Ask Why Free Speech Actually MattersSHARE
The term free speech has been tossed around so promiscuously that we tend to forget it means more than simply 'the right to express one's thoughts'. The ACLU defined two more components of free speech that might just eclipse our go-to meaning.
Caitlin Johnstone posted this article in late January 2022. It could hardly be more applicable.
