(1 comments) Thursday, March 1, 2007 Support Our Troops and Our Country: March on the Pentagon March 17thSHARE
We can send letters, send emails and make phone calls, but this is not nearly enough. As I write, brave citizens who recognize this reality are occupying congressional offices around the country, demanding an end to the war in Iraq, but this is only part of the strategy. We must also gather in unprecedented numbers on March 17th to give the cowards a daunting visual reminder of the order we gave them in November.
(1 comments) Monday, February 5, 2007 The Real TraitorsSHARE
These are not the genuine claims of selfless patriots. They're the shameful tactics of desperate warmongers who don't seem to understand that no matter how many times a lie is told, it will never become the truth. What truly comforts the enemy is the callous willingness of leaders who have never known battle to send our fellow citizens into hell on earth, to serve as little more than human targets in their imperial shell game.
(9 comments) Friday, February 2, 2007 Democrats: A Paralyzed MajoritySHARE
The new majority may not be silent, but what they're saying so far is dangerously worthless. Please - Spare me all the "politics takes time" bullshit. There is far too much at stake.

"Iran is still very much on the table just as America is still in danger of deteriorating into a militarized police state. Cheney's dream of global hegemony and absolute rule continues to move forward regardless of the elections' results. He remains committed to his original plan whatever the cost to the country in terms of blood and treasure. Do not underestimate Dick Cheney. He will stop at nothing..."
(3 comments) Sunday, November 12, 2006 The Bush Administration's Torture of U.S. Citizen Jose PadillaSHARE
Sickening details of the torture of Jose Padilla, a U.S. citizen, on U.S. soil, in U.S. custody, under the direction of the President of the United States. Any member of our congress who condones this activity must be put up for Impeachment and criminal prosecution right along side the Bush crime family.

"If the study's findings are flawed, then its critics should demonstrate how and why. But no one should dismiss these shocking numbers without fully examining them. No one should want to."...but many seem to be doing just that. The same John Hopkins group had asked for an independent study of its similar survey in 2004, which also came in with a death toll well above other estimates. It never happened.
(3 comments) Sunday, October 15, 2006 New York Times/CBS Poll: Only 16% Believe "Official Story" of 9/11SHARE
The next step is to use the majority opinion as leverage towards officially changing the record of what happened on 9/11, forcing the mainstream media into addressing the issue, not as a quirky news item, but as a serious re-defining of the state of the nation and the world today.
(3 comments) Sunday, October 15, 2006 Padilla Update: Bush Has Been Torturing American Citizens Since 2002SHARE
The Padilla case proves that Bush was planning to overturn habeas corpus and institute a de-facto dictatorship from the very beginning...The government has no case and they know it. Padilla is merely the unwitting victim of a plan to discard the Bill of Rights and establish the supreme power of the presidency.
(3 comments) Saturday, October 7, 2006 Al Qaeda Tapes Lead Straight to the PentagonSHARE
The origin of the latest video has been swept under the carpet by the mainstream media who bizarrely admit that the government has had the tape since late 2001 but still suggest it is a new release by Al Qaeda.
...in an NBC article, they admit that before receiving the "exclusive US analysis" of the London Sunday Times' tape, they had filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the same tape earlier this year.
(3 comments) Sunday, October 1, 2006 Bush's War on AmericaSHARE
Because Bush can no longer reasonably depend on winning hearts and minds through persuasion, he's forced to take action against activities that threaten the tolerance and uncritical acceptance at home that his neoconservative foreign policy goals require. He must take action against people who spread dissent or watch helplessly as the entire house of cards implodes.
(3 comments) Thursday, September 21, 2006 STAND FIRM AGAINST TORTURESHARE
The Pretender-in-Chief wants Congress to pass legislation that would authorize indefinite detention, unfair trials, and immunity for torture and cruel treatment. If we do not stand firm against this barbaric Bush regime, demanding no compromise whatsoever, we will be ringing the death knell for democracy. Is that okay with you?
(3 comments) Sunday, September 17, 2006 MUST WATCH VIDEO: Story of tortured innocentsSHARE
"You are in a country with no laws. Do you know what this means? We can lock you up here for 20 years, or bury you, nobody would know."
If our Pretender-in-Chief does not condone torture, as you will hear him say in this video, WHY IS HE TRYING TO RETROACTIVELY LEGALIZE IT?! Please, all good and decent people of the world, we need to wake up, stand as one and act decisively NOW.
(3 comments) Sunday, August 27, 2006 New 9/11 Pics Add to WTC 7 MysterySHARE
They say every picture tells a story. In the case of 9/11, there are many pictures; both moving and still, that also raise very troubling questions, especially for anybody who insists on clinging to the most wild of conspiracy theories that is the "official story" of that tragic day.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 Bush GOP Drug Plan's Side Effect Is SevereSHARE
As a result of the new Medicare drug program, thousands of people who take pills to fight cancer have suddenly found themselves with new bills to pay for their essential medicines
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 Republican leader Boehner rejects guest worker planSHARE
House of Representatives Majority Leader John Boehner on Sunday rejected efforts to establish a guest worker program in the United States, despite calls from Bush to make provisions for millions of current illegal immigrants.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 Croatia not told of US rendition flights: presidentSHARE
The United States, accused by Amnesty International of twice using Croatia as a stopover point for terrorism suspects, never informed the government about such landings, Croatia's president said on Saturday. "We wish to know why our territory is used, if it is used," Croatian President Stjepan Mesic told Reuters during a visit to San Francisco.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 John Dean: The President and Vice President Are Not In the Clear YetSHARE
At a minimum, the filing indicates that the President and Vice President departed radically, and disturbingly, from long-set procedures with respect to classified documents - and that the Vice President, in particular, exceeded his declassification authority. And it may indicate that they, too, ought to be targets of the grand jury.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 Bill Moyers: A CULTURE OF CORRUPTIONSHARE
Money is choking our democracy to death. Our elections are bought out from under us and our public officials are doing the bidding of mercenaries. So powerful is the hold of wealth on politics that we cannot say America is working for all Americans. The majority may support such broad social goals as affordable medical coverage for all, decent wages for working people, safe working conditions, a secure retirement, and clean air and water, but there is no government "of, by, and for the people" to deliver on those aspirations.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 Plenty of Opportunities to Impeach BushSHARE
Paper says that during the month of March alone, Bush violated enough other laws to make impeachment proceedings possible. The piece says that, "to avoid writing a book," it was necessary to omit any violations of law committed before March 1, 2006, violations of humanitarian laws and negligence, and some of the prior laws to which there had not been additional information added.
(3 comments) Sunday, April 9, 2006 It’s time, actually well past time for Congress and the American people to say NO to the president and his latest poodleSHARE
NO, we won’t stand for any more lies or excuses for assuming powers not in constitutional evidence. And NO it is not acceptable to listen in on domestic phone calls or read domestic e-mails whenever you feel like it. Besides, the notion that commander-in-chiefdom bestows extraordinary, unrestricted, un-challengeable power on the president is unacceptable on its face.
