Trudy Bayer is a rhetorical critic and political activist. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh with a specialization in the rhetoric of the 19th century women's movement. Dr. Bayer was the founding director of the Oral Communication Lab at the University of Pittsburgh.
