He was a session player in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, Australia before coming to the United States. Angelo trained with world-class drummer Nate Morton and is proficient in jazz, rock, Latin and virtually every style of popular music. One of his primary influences is Stewart Copeland (The Police).
