EMERGENCY ACTION ALERT! TOWN HALL(S) NEEDED IN MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL
Concerned citizens of Minneapolis/ Saint Paul demand immediate response by their civic leaders in the form of a joint Town Hall meeting in response to the pervasive, illegal pattern of preemptive arrest, search & seizure of peaceful protesters and journalists in and around the Republican National Convention at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul.

If I Had a Million Dollars...
If I had been recruited by an "America's Got Talent" Casting Agent who had seen my YouTube video earlier this year I might have decided "what the hell?" and made the trip to Navy Pier in Chicago a few weeks ago to be among what may or may not have been 30,000 people we may or may not have been told who auditioned in a dozen cities around the nation and/or sent in a DVD of their work for a chance to gain a spot on the show.

Push CheneyBush Impeachment now with 'Nixon Flooding Plan'
Call your representative today to participate in the "Nixon Flooding Plan" to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney, patterned after the way dozens of Representatives dropped impeachment resolutions into the hopper, pushing the Nixon impeachment forward and eventually leading to Nixon's resignation. The crimes of Cheney/Bush are far more egregious yet our "Democratic" Congress is condoning the crimes through their inaction.

Minneapolis School Board unanimously restricts military recruiters
The Minneapolis School Board last night voted unanimously to restrict military recruiters to school Career Centers, insisting that they had to apply in advance and sign in whenever they were on campus. The decision also included the stipulation that other career groups advocating "Peace" or with other perspectives on military careers would have equal access.

Multiple Impeachment Resolutions pass in Minnesota Democratic Party precinct caucuses
With record turnout last night to the DFL (Democratic Farmer-Labor) Party precinct caucuses all over the Twin Cities, impeachment resolutions passed in a number of areas. In my precinct in Senate District 62, Precinct 11/7, the small group that remained until the end of a long night voted narrowly to pass my very strongly worded resolution in support of efforts to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney.

Bring Cheney Impeachment Resolution to Caucus/Primary mtgs.
Just alter this slightly to work for your location, print out multiple copies and bring it. The rest will be explained to you at the event. Remember that the Peace Corp was initiated by a single resolution introduced by a Minnesota citizen.
Wexler Impeachment Petition nearing 200,000 signatures
Florida Representative Robert Wexler is steadily closing in on 200,000 signatures on an online petition he posted in December calling for citizen support of impeachment proceedings commencing at once against Vice President Richard B. Cheney. You can add your name online at: www.WexlerWantsHearings.com

Impeachment is NOT "far left" politics
Even moderate and liberal writers can get caught up in the pervasive framing spin woven by the corporate press. True journalists need to learn to 'just say no'.

Cheney to be Impeached?
If you believe impeachment hearings to investigate Vice President Richard B. Cheney are warranted there has never been a better time to say so. Sign the impeachment petition at: www.WexlerWantsHearings.com initiated by House Judiciary Committee members Robert Wexler (D-FL), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) TODAY!
Pat Tillman + Cindy Sheehan = Peace?
No matter how much effort I and we of www.ImpeachforPeace.org put into holding the White House and other corrupt officials accountable, each and every veteran or active duty soldier has the authority in the public eye to have twice the effect I or any other 'justice through impeachment for peace' activists have regarding Peace and Justice issues around our military in half the time.

What Conyers Didn't Hear from ImpeachforPeace today
We of ImpeachforPeace.org had a 15 minute meeting scheduled with Chairman Conyers today. The meeting didn't happen. We will give our full perspective on www.ImpeachforPeaceorg and on YouTube very soon as to why that appointment was not kept by Conyers and his staff over the next 24 hours. For now, here is the opening and closing statement I prepared with the help of our group and other "justice through impeachment" folks.

Conyers/Ellison in Minneapolis Town Hall Meeting on Health Care/Impeachment this Sunday
Sun., Sept. 23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison is hosting a Forum on "Health Care for All Americans" with special guest Congressman John Conyers, Jr.
Conyers is the chief sponsor of HR 676, the United States National Health Insurance Act and is also the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, where any impeachment proceedings must start.
ImpeachforPeace.org wants to talk to Rep. Conyers about impeachment.
Oaths of Office ignored by most City Councils
Here and there around the country debates are raging over whether or not to open City Council meetings with The Pledge of Allegiance. This discussion is the very definition of the political "red herring". Nothing could be less critical or more distracting from the real issues of priority facing our nation.

An Open Letter to Candidates Afraid of Justice
Happy 'Gonzo Gonzo Day'!!!
One more down, two (maybe two hundred) to be removed through impeachment.
Should we trust otherwise decent candidates who aren't publicly calling for accountability through impeachment? Are they ready to honor the oath they want to swear?
Twelve Steps for Congress toward Impeachment (from Patriots Anonymous)
1. We admitted we were powerless over George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney--that our government had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore our nation to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our actions over to the care of The American People as we understood them.

New Hampshire Representatives ready to call for impeachment?
New Hampshire was one of the first Thirteen Colonies, the very first to declare independence from tyrannical King George, the very first state to have its own constitution and is where the first primary in the quadrennial U.S. presidential election cycle is traditionally held. Does New Hampshire hold the key to accelerating the nationwide grassroots movement to impeach?
Media Very Slow to Acknowledge Majority Want Impeachment
Much of the American media has apparently grown so accustomed to regurgitating 'creative' White House press releases that when handed a fact, they seem incapable of recognizing it for what it is. 'War is peace? Love is hate? Sure, we'll buy it and make a buck on the resale!' A majority of Americans favor impeachment. When will the press notice?

[Breaking] Rep. KEITH ELLISON (D-MN) SIGNS IMPEACHMENT RESOLUTION 333
An aide called www.ImpeachforPeace.org from the offices of Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) this morning saying that Rep. Ellison has cosigned House Resolution 333 as authored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) calling for impeachment hearings to commence against Vice President Richard B. Cheney.
"Impeachment Should Be on the Table": Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN)
Four members of ImpeachforPeace.org met with Representative Keith Ellison (D-MN 5th) in his Minneapolis offices Saturday morning, April 22nd to discuss the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
Early in the meeting, Ellison made clear that his opinion hasn't changed since he introduced a Resolution for the impeachment of President Bush as a Minnesota State Legislator by saying:
Tale of Three Georges
A Bush/Orwell montage to our good buddy Donal Hinely's song "Tale of Three Georges".
To Impeach the President and Vice President, ask your Congressperson if their oath of office to "uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC" means anything to them.

"How" to Impeach
Here are three resources that we of www.ImpeachforPeace.org feel can really make an even bigger and more effective difference:

Impeach Cheney? Imprison Libby? But they are coming clean!
Documents submitted in the Lewis "Scooter" Libby CIA leak trial are reminescent of a recent headline in "The Onion", the lampoon magazine which proclaimed in it's November 30th, 2005 issue: "CIA Realizes It's Been Using Black Highlighters All These Years"

Less Popular: Bush or Impeachment?
Impeachment is neither a popularity contest nor a partisan weapon to be wielded as political retribution or as a stepping-stone to power.
Saddam Dead, Bush Hoodless
Saddam is Dead.
And President Bush didn't even have to wear a black hood. includes graphic, potentially disturbing image of dead, hanging Saddam.
Nor a white one.

SD Dem Senator Tim Johnson Falls Ill, Cheney Salivates
Shades of Paul Wellstone in 2002. Wouldn't it be wierd if a Democratic Senator in a State with a Republican Governor were to be incapacitated and have to be replaced by appointment just shy of the opening of the 110th Congress - thus negating the narrow Democratic majority and handing vote-splitting authority to Vice President Rich, Rich, Richard Halliburton?

Who Killed the Kennedys After All?
Most damning, however, is direct testimony from the former attorney for the now-deceased Morales, Robert Walton, saying that Morales admitted to him that he saw it was time for a change and that "I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard."

National Call-In TODAY for Peace AND Impeachment
So by all means make your call, but please say instead:
"I insist that Congress act immediately to bring all U.S. troops home from Iraq NOW!, AND I demand full accountability of the President, the Vice President and their entire Administration for the lies that got us into this mess in the first place. I insist that impeachment be BACK ON THE TABLE immediately.
Not Out of the Northwoods Yet
The election results of November 7th were certainly encouraging, but nothing has changed yet. The atrocious laws passed and the limitless power of this President are still intact. We are just one "act of terror" away from losing everything we just won.
Impeachment: A Moral Imperative
Impeachment is being criticized in some quarters as a "waste of time an money" or a "distraction" and some are saying "just let the Pelosi-led Congress move a positive agenda forward. Since when is enforcement of existing law and being guided by Constitutional principles optional?
